The battery came on time and the installation was a breeze after watching a YouTube video.

This battery is a viable option for a Dyson V7 as it has solid runtime and manages heat well. The battery was only slightly warm after an extended run in MAX mode. Although this battery's stated capacity is overrated at 3000mAh it is refreshing to see a rating that is somewhat in the ballpark as almost all other aftermarket battery manufacturers rate their batteries in the 5000-7000mAh range. A Dyson OEM battery is rated at 2100mAh and uses industry best Sony Murata cells (learned this after I took apart my Dyson battery after it died). I would estimate that aftermarket batteries average 1500-1700mAh as it is unlikely any of them will have more capacity than the Dyson OEM battery.Here are test results on 6 different battery options for a Dyson V7. I've had my dyson for 5 years and it finally stopped working, we thought that it was the battery so gave this a try and our vacuum works like brand new again! Easy to install, feels durable, and charges well. It stays charged just as long as my original battery did. I would highly recommend this battery

This went on smoothly and charges up quickly, it holds a charge for a decent length of time. My original Dyson battery wouldn't even run for a full minute towards the end so this was definitely an improvement, however the vacuum with the OEM battery was notably stronger at 2100mAh than this one which claims to pull 3000mAh, so even though I couldn't measure it I think the rating is likely inaccurate.

Time will have to pass for the best review but for a start this fits perfectly on our V7 and is charging and running great. So no complaints and we will see how long it lasts.

We had a Dyson battery that would only last for around 1 minute in high power mode. This one certainly works better than that, but it will not last as long as the original. The convenience here is that it fits in the original mount and holds more charge than an old battery.Fit is fine and installation was easy, but the finish does not look remotely like the original which is annoying.Overall, save up and buy a real Dyson battery if you can. Not a great value at the current price.

Fits easily and works just like original equipment, which is exactly what I expected. I was expecting a hassle getting a replacement battery and was relieved to find exactly what I needed on Amazon. I think the price is quite reasonable, too, especially considering what the vacuum cost.
