The Top Filter: BUY IT NOW!
I had run out of paper filters and the thought arose on whether a product existed that could alleviate my filter resupply problem. To my total surprise, this product requires no paper filters but it actually makes a better cup of coffee. It took me two tries before I realized that the stand is not just a storage stand but rather what you place on top of your cup or coffee pot when you pour hot water into the filter. There were absolutely no hint of grounds in my coffee cup which I thought was totally amazing. Incredible product! If you are considering this type of filter, look no longer. This is "The One To Buy"! UPDATE: This coffee bean experience just seems to get better and better. The holes are drilled in a pattern which results in a 6-petal-flower pattern. My guess is that the pattern results in additional strength over a equally distributed set of drill holes. But I digress, these extra small holes prevent the quick flow of draining coffee into your receptacle. Sounds like a bad feature but results in additional brewing time that seems to make the richest cup of Joe in the world! Go figure!FOLLOWUP COMMENT: there are two layers. The titanium outer layer with a flower pattern...and some kind of inner material which appears smooth to the touch so I don't know where its holes are. Also, you have to pour straight down which sends the water to the bottom. If you pour towards the sides, you spill water all over your table. UPDATE:there is no 2nd liner as it is drilled so finely that it feels smooth. My error. BUY IT, BUY IT NOW

A little disappointed ☹️
This was supposed to be used without a paper filter. I purchased this in October 2020, and now the inner seal is coming apart. I have not put it in the dishwasher to clean. I hand cleaned it each time I used it. Once you brew your coffee, it is difficult to get the grounds out. I now use a paper filter (V60 no. 3) and it works great. I would recommend.

No Filters, Just Great Coffee
Makes a great cup or two or three of coffee. Am using it with Life Extension Rainforest Ground Coffee. Very enjoyable. Unit is delicate, so you must take care to dump out grounds into garbage or recycle, then just rinse it with hot water immediately after use. Put it in drying rack away from sharp utensils. Because it is metal, it does draw off some heat from the water, so make sure you have a rolling boil before you slowly pour in the water. 3 tablespoons of ground coffee makes about 15oz of beverage, about 3 small cups. I think you could fit even more if you like to fill up a thermos with Joe, but I have not tried this yet. I would buy this again. I just hope it lasts.

Beautiful and makes outstanding coffee!
I was SO EXCITED to get this beauty of a coffee filter. I have the No. 2 size and brew over my cup for my morning coffee. The coffee it makes is outstanding. I have been using paper filters and this filter makes the quality of the coffee so much higher. The taste is much more bold and smooth. The filter’s inside layer is very fine and slowly brews the coffee without leaving any grounds coming through into my cup at all. And I am so excited to use a coffee filter that is not plastic without having any paper waste at all either—just the coffee grounds that I throw in the compost container for the garden.

Make your own “Best cup of coffee in the world”!
I use this filter, a mug, and my gooseneck electric pot to make a great single cup of pour over coffee. Without paper filters the full flavor of the coffee is there in the cup - hot, steamy and perfect. Make sure to read up on or watch a video or two about making pour over coffee if you’re new to it. It’s easy and quick, but there is a technique. This filter is easy to rinse out and hasn’t clogged at all. With its lovely flower of life design, it’s now an integral part of my morning coffee ritual.

Beautiful, simple, great design
Glad no filters are needed anymore! However I did throw a 2"x2" piece of paper towel in the bottom of it one day to see if I could slow it down. If you don't use enough grounds or if you just pour water on indiscriminately, the coffee comes out too fast and not as neatly. So you need some way to control of your hot water rate of pour and maybe the #2 size would be best for using only 2-3T grounds. Most often I am making 16 oz of coffee so I got the #4.

Weak brew
Got this to eliminate our paper filters. If you like weak coffee and an aesthetically pleasing coffee filter, this might be for you. We used this with our Chemex 6 cup this morning. When I first started pouring my water over, I realized it was filtering WAY too fast. I tried pouring slower, but it still was going through immediately. My husband and I both remarked at how weak it was. We usually brew very, VERY strong coffee. Used same amount of beans, same grind, same coffee, same method, but because it filted so quicklywe were missing out on much of the flavor. Will be returning and going back to paper filters. It is really pretty, just not functional for us.

Beauty & function
Beautiful to look at and functions very well. I use this with my Chemex instead of buying paper filters. We had company when this arrived. One of our guests used it before I did and raved about it. He said he has had 'these kinds of filters before' and this functioned way better. I don't have anything to compare it to though it works well. We live in the sticks and always have to buy filters on-line so I wanted a filter I can count on. This is it so far.

No more ripped filters
Having worked from home for a while now, I wake up 10 minutes before the daily morning call. This includes time for coffee, and when the paper filters rip, it means no coffee until after the meeting. Meeting without coffee = bad. Actually the paper filter ripped again today, so I went down to pick up this new filter and had coffee in 3 minutes. Washing was a cinch, since the inside is smooth and doesn't catch the dish sponge. Kinda cool to see the grinds look a little like flowers after, too. Overall great product, wish it was a bit cheaper but I'm satisfied with the quality. Note it doesn't come with the stand (as stated in product description).

Not that good
The paper filter works better but slower. I'll need to use coarse grinded coffee. The item arrived in a plastic bag without the box. Lucky it wasn't damaged.I got the filter but missing the Dripper frame. (It was a 2-in-1 combo)I did get a 20% off paper voucher to buy the dripper (which I already paid for). It doesn't matter because they don't ship this separate item to Australia anyway.Amazon Customer Service offered me a full refund and I got to keep the filter. Thank you!!!

Trop grand pour ma petite cafetière cuisinart
J’ai dû renvoyer l’article Car trop grand pour ma cafetière cuisinart ... filtre était bien no 2 mais avec le rond en rubber ma cafetière ne fermait pas. Trop large du haut.

Yes. Buy.
I've bought a few of these metal cone filters. This one looks by far the best, and works the best.In particular, others have clogged after a month or two, in a way that doesn't really seem all that fixable (dishwasher, high pressure hose, kettle de-scaler - all only helps a bit). I think this one hasn't, because it has larger holes on the outer, sheet-metal, side, so fines and limescale don't get trapped between the two layers. As for looks, very premium indeed. Actually looks much better than the pictures. Really nice copper/rose-gold kind of finish. Puts the stuff I had before to shame. Please note that metal mesh filters are for people who like their pour-over coffee with a lot of body, oils, and mouth feel. Oily, flavourful, and potentially somewhat silty, depending on your grinder. If you like 'a bright, clean cup', you should use paper to get that. I definitely prefer what this filter does, though.Note: the wire 'dripper cradle' seen in the pictures isn't included (does say 'sold separately'). Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be available on Amazon. Looks nice in the pictures, if I could find it, I'd get that too.

A really beautiful reusable coffee filter
I bought this to use with the OXO Good Grips Pour Over Coffee Maker with Water Tank, White, and together they make a really lovely cup of coffee, really simply. In it's own right this filter is great. It lets the water drain through at a good pace, never leaves any grains in the cup, and is really lovely to look at.Used in conjunction with the Oxo pour over is a winning combination. The filter is a little too big for the oxo pour over, meaning the water tank of the Oxo doesn't sit flush, but it doesn't affect the operation of the two combined, and I really can't find anything to criticise about this filter - it's a great bit of kit that helps make a lovely cup of coffee.
