Review: Perfect macarons all the time! - I bought this silicone mat for making macarons because I always end up with different sizes of macarons. This is a great product! Not only I get uniform sizes of macarons, they also easily seperate from the mat. The mat itself is durable and can be used multiple times. It is easy to clean and store as it can be rolled up without deforming the mat. Good value for its quality and use.

(note it's not recommended) - In comparison with cooking paper, nothing gets through it! If you place it well, your pans and trays will stay clean! - Well designed in terms of size. For most oven pans fits well creating some border, this way ensuring juices/grease stays on it and does not slip into the pan. - Saves you some money on cooking paper, especially if you use it often. CONS: - Cleaning: The main and probably the only caveat for me is cleaning it! If you're baking or doing non-greasy stuff, it's actually great, hardly keeps something. BUT if you cook greasy stuff, for example meats - you will need to wash it after. So with cooking paper you just throw it away. You can wash it well and relatively easy just if you have your sink always empty and you put it in the bottom of the sink so it stays flat. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are These ok to use on an induction cooktop to help pans from sliding**
A: These answers are wrong. Induction does work with silicon mats. You do need to have proper metal pans, but induction does conduct thru the silicon. Have been using them with success to minimize mess on cooktop and prevent scratching from bottom of pans. Would not use them on extreme high setting for a long time. But simmering and normal cooking work fine with a quality mat.

**Q: Are these mats PBA free?**
A: I don’t know what PBA is, but considering they’re not even plastic, I would assume they’re BPA-free at least.

**Q: can you cut these to fit pan**
A: None of them apparently fit standard pans. I'm cutting one to find out if they can be cut. If you do before me, please let me know.

**Q: Is roasting time really a factor? Mine came with an insert that note not to use this for cooking vegetables for more than 10 minutes. Is that correct?**
A: It may depend on oven temp? I have convection so setting my oven at 400 is really 375.
