Excellent build quality but I must use on max speed to be effective
Excellent build quality with its metal case and powerful fan. Suction hose is nice design.Works great on max speed but for me, it's only functional on high speed. Anything slower doesn't do enough to be effective. It's fairly loud on high speed but that's pretty typical.Overall, I like it but they could improve on how the variable speed works in my opinion.

does not work as advertised
this product does work at removing exhaust fumes / smoker when i use my laser engraver, however it does not "purify" the smoke. all it did was make my work room smell like smoke. it makes a terrible noise when used on any speed below full power. it is a decent size and shape, but does not work as advertised.

Great machine with plenty of uses
I picked this unit up to help filter the air for light welding, 3D printing and basic hobbies that we do around the house. I've never use one of these before, so I don't have anything to compare it to.The unit is solidly built with decently thick aluminum which makes this lighter than I was expecting, but also heavy enough to stay where you put it. Transporting it around is not difficult and the hose gives you a lot of options on where you direct the vacuum.I haven't had to change the filters yet, but I assume the size is common enough to make replacement easy when the time comes. One drawback/word of caution is that there are no instructions at all included in the box. Luckily it is a simple enough machine, but it would be nice to have some instructions included to give information on maintenance, parts replacement and general information.Overall I am very happy with this unit and will continue to find ways of using this machine.

Well made and solid construction
I have been doing electronics repair for years and my old fume extractor has seen better days. The build quality seems quite decent and the product has a fair bit of weight to it. When running it is not excessively loud. My wife is pleased that I am making an effort in protecting my health. Do yourself a favor and take care of your health. Recommended.

Solid construction, but I have a fan speed issue
The media could not be loaded. Metal case, and absorbed all fumes, if you can tolerate it running at max speed all the time.I think my fan speed control has an issue. I barely get any usable fan speed below 50%. Then at 50%, the motor Slows down? (see video). At 50% to 75% fan speed is slow it is not useable as a smoke absorber. About 75% fan speed, it takes off and gets a HUGE amount louder. Above 75% sucks fumes from 6-10 inches away. I would love to run lower fan speed and quieter, and that should work.I returned it

No instructions
There’s no instructions, nothing there that tells you it’s reverse threads. Can’t figure out what the flange is for. I spent 30 minutes or more trying to figure out how to put this thing together before I realize it was reverse threads. I have looked around to try to figure out where I can get More filters or extra tubing and I can’t find it anywhere. this product might have to go back. I would not recommend buying this product. Yes I would like to be contacted by seller
