Giro Techne Cycling Shoes - Men's

Very attractive and well made shoes. The sewing is impeccable and I love the BOA fasteners. I start to feel good the moment I put these shoes on.I bought them to use with Peloton. I've logged 25 rides in these now. I love these shoes! I added the Look Delta cleats. These shoes are compatible with 3 hole or 2 hole cleats. The 2 hole receiver portion comes mounted in the slots and is not removable. Pro-tip: It will make an annoying jiggling sound unless you put a little piece of cardboard over it to damp them when you install your 3 hole cleats.The soles are very stiff and the uppers are super comfortable. I feel strong and a good transfer of power to the bike. Sizing is as expected. I wear US men's 10.5 and the 45 fits perfectly.These Giro's are of a similar quality and feel and compare very favorably to a much more expensive pair of Sidi's that I finally wore out. This is a very well crafted shoe. After 25 rides they still look brand spanking new. I believe they represent superb quality at a moderate price.

So far so good! I love this brand and I own a pair in the shiny black patent leather. I’m a fan because the inside of these shoes are cushioned, top and bottoms lined....I have foot problems, high arches, it’s nice to NOT have to make an expensive shoe purchase only to still receive the items then have to change the foot inserts. Sizing was also accurate and the shoes looks exactly like the photos. I am a cycling instructor and these babies work hard, are very comfortable, and they are holding up! Would definitely recommend!!

For medium price range shoes these are just what I wanted. The fit is a little snug but length is true to size at least for US men's 9. I am using SPD cleats and they work great, the holes move so you have plenty of range where you'd want them positioned. I don't know if the material quality would hold up well outdoors all the time. My 4/5 is for indoor use on a budget (anything less than $60 is just not going to be decent quality at all IMO)

I have really wide feet and high in-step for a woman; therefore, I generally wear men’s shoes. I was really worried about the fit of these shoes. I measured the length of my foot, rounded up to the size that was suggested, and added a half size - my normal size is 8 for woman. My measured length was a bit more than 26.5 cm, which equated to a size of 8.5 and I added one more 1/2 size - I ordered size 9, and these shoes fit really well. When it comes to shoes, I very often buy men’s size 8 1/2 to 9 - so perhaps they fit true to size (especially for my wide feet).

Great cycling shoe! Very comfortable even for the long rides. I generally put in about 30ish miles a day and these shoes have been a dream. Plenty of cushioning and the ability to tighten them with ratchets instead of Velcro is huge. Nice width to the shoe as well for those who need it.

He says they fit very well and are comfortable. So far they are easy to clean up after a wet and dirty ride this morning, just a quick rinse washed the dirt off. I did not add a picture as the one in the description is exactly how they look. Quality is top notch. He is very happy with his Christmas present. :)

Love these shoes. They fit great and I ordered my normal size in women’s which is an 8 and they fit just right. I wear compression socks with them and have no issue of the shoe feeing too tight. They clip in and lock great. They do come with the clips to lock into the pedal which I did not know and bought separately. I hadn’t seen anyone say that in the reviews when I originally purchased them so I thought I’d mention it because I’m new to cycling and didn’t know if they come with all shoes or not.

Do yourself a favor and steer clear of these shoes/seller. I originally ordered a Size 40 yellow/green and it was way too tight. So I returned it for a Size 41 and that shoe fits the same if not worse than the size 40 I returned!!! Thankfully the Amazon return lockers are a 5 minute drive, or i'd be pissed about having to do this return for a 2nd time.How does a size 40 and 41 of the same shoe fit exactly the same? 1/2in way too small.

Exactly what I was looking for. I’m 8.5 in regular shows and got a size 41 and they are perfect.

Buy them larger than your usual size. I usually am 43, but these are too small

Die schuhe haben mir sehr gefahlen aber die waren leider zu klein.Ich trage 40 und habe 41 bestelt und ich glaube 42 wäre immer noch zu klein.Habe das Geld ohne Problemen zurück bekommen.

Brauchte nach Jahren neue Schuhe, hatte bisher Weiße, allerdings hält man die Farbe irgendwann nicht mehr sauber. Das Verschlusssystem kenne ich schon über meine Leki-Skihandschuhe und liebe es. Als ich dann diese Schuhe hier entdeckt habe, mit einem unschlagbaren Preis und alle meine Anforderungen erfüllend (schlicht, optisch hübsch, schwarz und der Verschluss) musste ich zuschlagen. Ich trage immer die 39, bei normalen Schuhen sowie auch bei meinen bisherigen Rennradschuhen und auch hier passt die Größe wie erwartet! Ich bin absolut begeistert!
