Nice jacket and very warm.
I was a little skeptical when I got this package since it was so small and light. The vacuum seal had this jacket sealed like a glove. Once I opened it up and shook it out it started to expand to full size and it truly is a nice product. The fit is a little small for me if I want to layer under it. If you want more room I would size up from your normal jacket size but with all that said I took my steam wand and ran it over the jacket, all the wrinkles and creases from the vacuum pack all came out and it fluffed up very nicely. It is very good looking plus it really is warm! Not sure how rain proof it is so i bought some rain proofing spray on for garments and did a few coats to see how well it does in the weather. I am sure in the snow it will be great. Very nice quality.

Cool coat
Firstly, I wasn't sure about purchasing without trying it on but, I knew I could return it if I needed to. When it arrived as some have mentioned, the color was slightly lighter than what's pictured. After wearing it a few times I can honestly say that it is warm and comfortable so far.The fit it about right although it is slightly tight in the shoulders. I'm tall, 6 ft 1, over 230 lbs. And bought the XL, the XXL wasn't available when I ordered. I still think that it fights fine but, if I had to do it over again I would go a size bigger. Average sized guys I think that it would fit true to size. For us tall and/or heavier guys you may want to consider going up a size. Other than that it does it's job and at the this price point you'd be hard pressed to find a warmer coat. I've paid considerably more in the past for coats that weren't nearly as warm .

The Day the Polar Vortex Arrived....
I was never really a fan of Parkas. The only time I'd seen them worn was mostly by middle-aged men in the winter. I was more a fan of tactical clothing that served a purpose. However, I mostly adopted a layering technique that became cumbersome in the long run. So I finally broke down and decided to replace my Peacoat for this.I timed it so that it arrived right at the doorstep of the Polar Vortex. The weather that day ranged from 57 degrees down to 11. I've got to say: I was rather impressed by the coat's ability to handle a range of climates from mildly warm (for fall/winter) to absolute frigid. At noon, the temperature was around 50 and the coat wasn't entirely too warm with a T-Shirt beneath. But as the day progressed, rain began to fall in the form of mild precipitation. With the hood up, the coat absorbed/deflected most of the moisture without much hesitation. As it began to transition to snow, the same level of resistance held up and the fur inside kept me warm without overheating, even as I layered an additional fleece zip-up to the outfitting.By the time the temperatures reached well below freezing, I flipped the hood up and the fur lining kept my head warm throughout like no one's business. It was perfect, functional, and utterly warm.So let's go over the Pros and Cons:Pros:*Insulation is effective under a range of temperatures - from 50 down to 10 degrees (thus far)*Fit is as-is-expected, with me wearing small shirts translating into a small-fit without much variance*The fur is VERY effective, both in the inner jacket and the hood*The sleeves accommodate gloves that wrap around the wrists without much trouble (so long as they're not entirely too thick - like OJ Simpson leather gloves that don't fit)*Plenty of pockets for storage and easy access*The button up collar, which renders the hood entirely more useful if you're walking INTO the wind - which would normally blow it over and expose your ears/head to the cold winds. It doesn't look stupid when other people are freezing cold and you're bundled up tight and laughing at them inside of your head.Cons:*The fur lining would have been spectacular in the regular pockets where your hands go. The lining is the same as the outside of the jacket, which is cold when you first reach into them, but are well-insulated thereafter. Still would have been a nice touch to have them fur-lined (at additional cost - no doubt)*There's a useless tie string for the hood that the button-up neck renders absolutely useless. Mine came loose and was rendered ineffective within a week. The button up collar makes that a production cost that was unnecessary and could have gone towards the fur-lined pockets that I'd have gotten more use out of (I know I'm being petty at this point).Overall Consensus:I love this coat. I regret nothing. The reason it's not five stars? Fur-lined pockets for your hands would have made all the difference. But again, I defer to the second sentence of my overall consensus.

That this product, fits the body and warms you up quick
What i like about this product, was that it fits me really well, i could still move around, i like how you have 2 options a zipper to zip it up or buttons, it came to mind that if the zipper breaks i will always have the buttons to button up vice versa, i love the fact you can detach the fur and the hood separately, for individual wash .that and you can creat 3 jackets with one .Jacket with fur and hoodJacket with no fur just hoodJacket no hood no furWhat i didn't like about the jacket was the sleeve length it was 1inch longer than what i expected to be .. i bought a small .. but i fixed it by putting gloves on but in total this is a very stylish "PARKA" with a affordable price and btw, i wore this at -10 degree weather .. i didn't felt cold .. at all.. nor too hot .. it was just right!.

Looks awesome, SUPER warm, and I get compliments everywhere I go.
This jacket arrived and I was immediately impressed. It fit nice, it was CRAZY warm, it looks great, and it feels durable. Time will tell that though. I am always worried that the hood of a jacket won't fit right, but this one is super roomy, doesn't bother me, and does exactly what I want. Zippers feel durable and I haven't had an issue yet.Only thing I didn't like (which was so small I didn't take a star off) was that it is maybe 1-2 inches short for my taste. It goes past my waist, but I would have liked it farther down my thighs. But that's super nit-picky because this really is a fantastic jacket.
