Underrated
I researched headphones in this category quite heavily, especially for not being an audiophile. But I wanted to make sure i would get headphones that I would actually use. At this price, I didn’t want expensive paperweights. If it isn’t comfortable or useful, I would have wasted money. Even after it arrived, I didn’t open it for a week, pondering whether I had made the right choice. Finally I decided to stick with my initial decision and keep them. Glad I did! They’re comfortable, block out almost all noise, and the sound quality is excellent. The app now allows for custom EQ settings, so complaints about poor EQ presets are moot. The build is excellent, and of course the battery life is endless. Some care only about audio quality, but these aren’t dedicated studio headphones. They’re meant to block noise, be portable, comfortable, and not require a lot of thought or effort to use. They check all those boxes, and have excellent sound quality too. The bass is deep and the high notes ring clear. Yes, they are pricey, but I think the quality and versatility, not to mention impressive battery life, justify that cost.

Must have, even over amazing competition
Amazing headphones. I would say there aren't many that have more high end, hifi, and Bluetooth headphones than me. I am not going to get technical, this is for the average user. I have 2 pair of these and 4 covers, 5 different pads. The way they are designed with the battery in the headband is brilliant (suprise, its Dyson). The battery life is up there with the best. It's not the best, but way above average. The sound is fantastic, crank them up and just enjoy! I feel its very well balanced, plenty of bass and crisp highs. With over 100 pairs of headphones and Bluetooth from Sony original 1000 and v4, B&w, B&o, Bose 35, 700 and UC, Sonos and more, plus wired, but those are a different cat. I have 2k Meze that give me goosebumps lol. So, simply comparing to Bluetooth and most of the major ones, I find myself listening to these the most. I program, so they come to work with me more than anything. Best for last, the comfort!! These things can be worn for days on my head. The pads being large and extremely comfortable, make earmuffs fatigue an old word not necessary anymore. Clamp force is just perfect. I like a tighter clamp force myself, but when they are too tight, you get ear fatigue, these are either just under the border line or designed so well, it doesnt matter. Let's say, y look need to shake your head pretty hard (headache hard for me) to get them to move around. I cant recommend these enough. I only got two for the different color, really no need for the average person. I would have three if I was loaded lol. Buy them, enjoy them and you wont regret it.

Dyson Return Policy Sucks
I would rate as zero if I could. The headphone's audio did not function out of the box. I spent an hour troubleshooting on my own, then called Dyson tech support. They had me repeat all the steps I had already completed without success. I was then told I could exchange for a new pair but the exchange would take a minimum of 18 business days after they received the headphones in their service center. They would only pay for ground shipping and estimated 4-5 days in transit. So their quality issue became my inconvenience. Nearly a calendar month to get a new pair under warranty for a nearly $500 US device that was a Christmas gift. When I learned this I told them forget the exchange and that I would return them for a refund and buy another brand. Good customer service would have been to dispatch a new pair immediately upon receipt of the faulty device. But 18 business days ? Not a company I want to do business with. Goodbye Dyson !

Read this before you ignore these headphones & buy Airpods Max, Bose QC, or XM5s:
These headphones are incredible! They only needed a day of break-in time to perform optimally. They sound fantastic, with rich, detailed, and sophisticated sound quality. They also look stylish and chic. These headphones are a strong contender in the $300 to $500 range of headphones. The combination of excellent sound quality, design, and battery life makes them an excellent value for money. The headphone’s design, despite its size, makes excellent use of available space. It boasts industry-leading battery life and large speaker drivers that deliver powerful bass and crisp high notes.Another aspect that stands out is the connectivity. While it’s marketed as Bluetooth 5, it boasts multi-point connectivity, enabling seamless transitions between devices and maintaining a robust connection range. I particularly appreciated the inclusion of a media joystick. The innovative controls of the joystick offer fast and precise control for playback and volume. *Quick tip: people often complain about the excessive force required to activate ANC control by double-tapping the side earplate. However, it’s actually an accelerometer. You can even double-tap the headband to activate ANC.*I also appreciate the durability of these headphones. They have a fantastic twist-lock mechanism that allows you to replace the ear cushions and color plates. The titanium construction not only enhances their resistance to scratches but also makes them incredibly drop-resistant!If you’re looking for a pair of headphones that ticks all the boxes, these are the ones for you.

Nice try but…
After trying the previous iteration with the fan and mask, I couldn’t wait for these to come out so I could try them.Pros: they look amazing, are extremely well built, are easy to connect to your phone, are fairly comfortable given their weight, the customizability is fantastic and other companies should pay attention.Cons: the ANC isn’t very good because you can’t get a proper seal over your ears, the microphone is absolutely awful for phone conversations, you can’t use them while they are charging, there is no wired connection. If the battery does run out on you, they cannot be worn around your neck in a comfortable fashion, the equalizer is very limited as is the sound floor, and their way too expensive for what you get.My overall recommendation: look elsewhere.
