Take your time adding water.
It goes a long ways. I read some has salt content, nature's deposits so to squeeze out the water will help rid most. I also purchased product to help with moisture for potted plants and you can mix with dirt. I'm trying with growing potatoes bags hanging off my deck. Im hoping for good karma.

LOVE COCO COIR
Love this stuff. I'm a plant addict & make my own soil for inside house and outside plant pots. I use 60% Coco Coir, 40% Perlite, 40% Orchid Bark, a small amount of Earth Worm Castings and small amount of additional charcoal. All my plants grow wonderful, inside and out. I buy everything from Amazon. It's well, well worth it! I no longer buy potting soil, it compacts and prevents good drainage.

FAST germination and healthy seed starters
I do not have enough good things to say about Coco Coir. After lots of research to minimize the number of pesticides and harmful soils to grow my own fruits and veggies from seeds, I came across this product and have since repurchased 2 more times! My zinnias sprouted within 3-5 days compared to ones I started in MiracleGro soil which took over 1 week in the same type of containers and same growing environment. The pellets expanded quickly and made an abundance of soil. I also mixed CocoCoir with a bit of Perlite as others suggested and once my seeds started to sprout, also introduced a natural fertilizer. This was great at keeping the house gnat population at bay as well. Great product and I don't mind spending a bit more for the quality!

Awesome stuff butt the big brick is the way to go if you want good buffered coir for the money I thought it was the same as the big 10pound brick butt it's not even the same size as the picture for this particular item

Single Coco Coir comes in handy for the smaller gardening containers.
Easy to handle and use single block coco coir as needed. I use these single blocks to add to my soil for my small containers. I bought the large single block for filling my large containers. The single blocks are great for smaller projects. Coco coir helps holding in moisture, which comes in handy in the hot climate I live in. I place one block in a 5 gallon bucket, add hot water and let it expand. Once it expands, I add my other soils and fertilizers.

Bricks are bit light
Each brick states they are 250 grams however they are not, 243, 237, 248 and so on. My use for these I need to add just the right amount of water as to much is just as bad not being enough. Having to break off some from one brick to add to another so to equal exactly 250 as I can then easily add the proper amount of water needed is something im wanting to avoid. So far ive been shorted 12 grams. If these bricks were gotten up off the streets being 12 grams shy of being 750 I would need my choir or certain actions would be taken. So if advertising 250g per brick lets make them 250g. 😅
