I had a very expensive canopy installed in my yard. After about two days the birds stating to sue it as their hang out spot. Of course with the birds come bird droppings. After some research I came across this caulk and determined it would be the best method to remedy my issue.The instructions say this stuff is sticky. Boy they were not kidding. Why going to apply this a highly recommend you wear close you intend to discard afterward. Regardless how careful you are it will get on you! I followed the application directions and applied it in a zig-zag manner on my canopy. Needless to say it worked like a charm and NO MORE BIRDS!I ordered the three pack, but only used one tube. If those little S.O.B's return I am ready!

I AM SANDWICHED IN A ROW HOUSE BETWEEN NEIGHBORS WHO FEED THE BIRDS BREAD., SO, I AM PLAGUED BY HOARDS OF BIRDS. THE BIRDS WOULD SIT ON THE WROUGHT IRON FENCE OF MY PATIO OHH ...10 TO 12 BIRDS AT A TIME ON 2 SIDES OF MY 4 SIDED FENCE, ON THE REGULAR AND JUST DO THEIR BUSINESS LIKE IT WAS LITERALLY A BATHROOM. I NEVER UNDERSTOOD THAT GROUP THING. ANYWAY, I WENT NUTS TRYING DETERRANTS...PREDATOR DECOYS, SPINNERS, OILS, SPRAYS, HOME REMEDIES...YOU NAME IT. I HESITATED TRYING THIS GEL FOR FEAR OF BIRDS GETTING STUCK AND THE MESS. HERE IS THE REVIEW WITH THE CAVEATS THAT PREVENT IT FROM BEING A 5 STAR ITEM. I DECIDED TO SPREAD IT ALLLL AROUND ON EACH LITTLE 5 ISH INCH SECTION OF MY FENCE (DESPERATION) AS WELL AS ON THE BOTTOM WRUNG SECTIONS...I USED A CRAFT STICK AND A MEDIUM COATING, NOT THICK SO AS NOT TO GET THEM STUCK, BUT BOTHERED. WELL, IT TOOK A FEW DAYS BECAUSE OF THE MAGNITUDE OF BIRDS I AM DEALING WITH, BUT ONCE A BIRD LANDED ON MY FENCE ONCE, THEY DID NOT COME BACK. THEY MUST HAVE TOLD THEIR BUDDIES TOO. I GET TICKLED SOMETIMES WHEN I SEE THEM REMEMBER ABOUT THE GEL ON THE FENCE AND CHANGE DIRECTION MID AIR. THEY STILL SWOOP AND FLY DANGEROUSLY CLOSE TO MY HEAD, BUT, THEY DO NOT USE MY FENCE FOR THEIR BATHROOM, ANYMORE. IT IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE THING I HAVE FOUND.THE CAVEATS: 1. IT IS VERY STICKY AND NOT EASILY REMOVED SO IT LOCKS THEM OUT, BUT, LIMITS MY USE TOO. 2.THE BIRDS AND SQUIRRELS HAVE MESSED UP MY FURNITURE COVERS TRYING TO GET THE GEL OFF OF THEM. 3. I HAVE TO KEEP GOING OUT TO CLEAN OFF THE FEATHERS AND MISC THAT ARE CAUGHT...BUT WORSE, THE ZILLION INSECTS CAUGHT.. (YUCK)..WHAT CAN I SAY..I BOUGHT SOME MORE.... GOOD LUCK.

This is a great product that lasts a long time! I have used it many years and apply every 2 years! Don’t get it on your hands as it is difficult to remove!

This stuff makes a mess. It drips everywhere. Bird feathers get stuck in it, so now where we only had bird poop, now we also have all kinds of feathers stuck in the goo. We have seen several birds that got the goo on one of their wings and could no longer fly because one wing was glued closed. A dove landed on the top tube of our metal fence today and couldn’t fly because its foot was stuck to the fence. New birds keep coming and landing in the goo. Bad for the birds, and a big mess for us to clean up. I do not recommend this product.

If you have a bird problem, just buy this already!! I was super skeptical since I have tried many bird deterrents, but this delivered. We have been battling birds for the past 2 years and this fixed the problem within 15 minutes. We applied this glue like stuff where the birds keep sitting on our porch. In 15 minutes the birds were there, and slightly stuck (so keep that in mind). We did have to remove 2 birds who got stuck, but it appears they learned their lesson. We no longer have birds sitting on our porch to do their business🙌🏼

The media could not be loaded. Like many I have a fence that's frequented by birds that like to sit there and poop. I tried a couple of physical type barriers with no luck. So, I purchased this product. As you can see in the picture the fence is narrow metal. I first tried placing a dot of the product about every 4 inches, didn't work. So then I applied it according to the self-help video. A continuous line along the entire fence. It's been a week and fpor the most part no birds. A couple landed and promptly flew away because of the stickyness of the product. If they do land on it some of there feather remain behind stuck to the product and there wings kinda fling some of the product around. If you use this product I highly recommend you wear some type of gloves while handling it. I used latex throw away gloves. The tube says mineral spirits for cleanup. Be sure to read the instructions!

We had an issue with pigeons sitting in a gutter and pooping on our balcony everywhere. We tried various spikes, reflectors and noise makers and none of them seemed to work. They sat on top of the spikes and didn’t seem to mind anything else we tried. I got this and lined the inside and outer edge of my gutter and within a few days the pigeons stopped coming!A month later and the pigeons have not returned and my balcony is finally clean! I’m very happy with this purchase and wish I had gotten this first. It was very easy to apply with a caulking gun and I still have a whole tube left.
