I have 3 adult cats and have tried so many different things to make it easier for myself. This R2D2 shaped litter contraption is absolutely fantastic.The setup was pretty seamless out of the box, with easy to understand instructions; it took maybe 20 minutes total. It took the cats a bit longer to get adjusted. Like a few weeks for all 3 to switch completely. But when they understood they can have a nice fresh, potty- one right after another- they were pretty sold. There have been fewer accidents for me to address in the morning while trying to leave for work. 🙄 It's super easy to switch out the waste bin too.And the litter! I have saved SO much money on litter due to efficiency. Because the box activates quickly after the cat exits, the waste is effectively removed without sitting long enough to get heavy and clumpy. It does that in the waste collection container underneath. There's also been way less litter scattered everywhere, by the box and throughout the house.All removable pieces are easy to take apart, clean and reassemble. The machine itself is quieter than our tower floor fan and doesn't take up much space at all.I've been considering another because of having more than 2 cats. Definitely would recommend. 👍*The only error has been on my part of not changing the waste bin soon enough. Think Roomba on the carpet with a nice dookie pile...WAY easier to cleanup however!!!*

Easy setup. My first one was consistently great. Easy to clean and cats love them so how I have 3. Had started with one that was kinda like a small cement mixer. It was awkward to move and the "automatic cleaning" feature stopped within 60 days. I bought this unit hoping for a win and it is a great little unit, glad I bought it and, treated me so good I got another. This is a winner.

I never write reviews but wanted to for this. Its a really great machine. Literally no kitty litter smell, can easily hold a week of waste i assume with 1 cat, fit into med size space, quiet, easy set up....this thing had it all.Only 1 problem....I have a cat that refuses to turn around when he enters the box so his waste gets stuck to the sides...alot....so we are returning it. Having to scrap it off the wall everyday defeats the self cleaning purpose ya know. NO FAULT of the product it just didnt work for our cat. Gonna try one thats closed in. Hope this helps with other owners who have weird potty-ers lol

It's super easy to set up. Simply remove it from the box, attach the legs, place the litter catching mat where the cats enter/exit, and assemble the poop-catching area. Basically, just place one of the included special-sized plastic baggies on the inside of the internal cassette-style box, then insert it into the unit.Run a quick alignment (middle button), add cat litter (about 20#), run the alignment again, and your cat's new throne is ready for use.- PROS -It's a cool little space pod that comes with everything you need except litter.It only has three buttons, so other than possibly a slight initial confusion about the placement of the poop baggie (it runs along the inside seam), it couldn't be easier to set up and use.It will pause the clean cycle if it senses your cat! The light turns red, the unit stops, and then it goes back to its cleaning cycle once it senses that your cat is no longer in the area.It's lifted off the ground so you can easily clean underneath, but it's also small enough to tuck under a counter or table if you want to hide it or maximize space.Contains smells!It's so quiet!- CONS -It's so quiet you might wonder if it's working, and spend a few minutes on the first day double-checking it. We saw the litter looking immaculately flat after being used, so we knew it had to be working, but we never saw or heard it; therefore, was it really? Like a tree falling in the woods, it *was* working, we just didn't see or hear it. lolLorge cats or those who don't like appropriately sized litterboxes might have an issue. They can still have their heads out (unless they are weird little yoga dudes like mine who do the stinkbug in there). It's more about how much space they have to turn around. That resolves itself once they get into a groove and develop their potty routine, but it's something you may want to keep in mind.

Litter control:Does well at reducing account of litter tracked by cats after using.Smell:Really reduces litter box odor until you open the door to swap the collection bags. A wall of odor will hit you in the face upon pulling out the drawer. Be prepared!Build quality:I was surprised by the quality of this product. I thought being as more affordable price would make for a 'cheap' feel. It actually has a fair account of weight to it and works really well.Leakage:I haven't noticed any leakage during use by 3 cats. Do have to keep an eye on the litter level. If it gets below the minimum line, the the sensor won't activate after being used. The lumps will sit on top until you manually removed them or press the clean button to start the cleaning cycle and dump the lumps into the connection tray.I would highly recommend this for any small to medium sized cats.
