I purchased this set for a backpacking trip with a bunch of buddies. Was looking for something lightweight, small, and durable and this set fit the bill perfectly. I coupled this with a Bluu Solo Stove (similiar to a Jet-Boil) and UCO Collapsable Cup, also purchased on Amazon, and the three items worked perfectly for the trip. The pans and utinsels included are sturdy. The stove burner that came with this set worked perfectly everytime with only one push of the buttom. The UCO cup fits perfectly inside the sauce pan in this set, while still allowing room for the stove burner, fork, spoon, wood stirrer, and cleaning pad. For fuel, I used the GasOne Camping Fuel Blend Isobutane 100 g fuel canisters which worked flawlessly. One of these fits perfectly into the Bluu Solo for easy storage. Overall, you can't go wrong with this setup. This is compact, the pot and pan are really pretty sturdy. The handles are comfy. Mine came with a couple of little bowls, a folding spork,, a soup ladle, a wooden spoon, and a sponge, the skillet is small but the pot with a lid could easily hold a meal for two. This was a gift from me to me and it replaces some bulky mess gear in my 'go-bag'

We used this on a recent camping trip. It was compact and worked very well. The plastic did not melt and it was over a fire.
