I buy a ton of incense, mostly Hem but I liked the motif on the box so I ordered this. No intent to offend but honestly this is a bad smell. We both thought it smelled odd but when I burned it my eyes teared up. It smells like a forest fire combined with burning plastic and chemicals. We put it out and the downstairs smells like burned tire fumes now. To each their own, I saw some reviews from people who liked it... we all agreed about the burning plastic and chemical smell.

Great scent, could last longer but we'll worth the money when on special offer.

Erano tutti ECCEZIONALI, ma questo è qualcosa di oltre...Subito ho immaginato di stare dentro una capanna di una strega dei boschi. Piena di ciondoli, acchiappasogni e componenti organiche strane appese al soffitto circondate da un fumo strano, pungente ma dolce allo stesso tempo che proviene da un calderone poco più il là.Acquistate a occhi chiusi qualsiasi incenso di questa gamma.

I normally love Stamford incense, so thought I would try this one out. The name didnt bother me - I don't do curses and its after all only a name. I also purchase other brands and scents and use them every day for just making the place smell nice, and sometimes as part of meditation and occasional ventures into ritual, and this was a bit of a variation from what I usually go for and I am always open to trying new things. Well what can I say? Its certainly powerful and filled the flat with its strong scent. Which is rather like Cillit Bang. There was no escape and the only option was to open the windows to stop my eyes from watering. There are some pleasant undertones to it, but the overall scent was like Barry Scotts idea of a good time so Im afraid it will not be a repeat purchase. Im aware that there are those who love it, and this is certainly not a criticism of Stamford , who make some excellent incense, or indeed anyones personal preference who have given this the thumbs up. But really this is not what I personally would call an aid to peace and focusing of the mind. Sorry Stamford, and sorry to those who feel I don't appreciate its appeal, but there you go. Just being honest, which is after all what these reviews are for.

Great scent and absolute bargain for the price. The fragrance isn't overwhelming as you get with a lot of cheaper sticks but it does spread well and lingers for a couple of hours
