This item does not translate in real time. You cannot get the translation while person is talking, you have to wait until they are finished.

OK product. Nice offline usage, fast. Doesn't seem too intuitive for an AI product. I use my Android with Google Translate, and achieve the same result with less frustration.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered the translator, as I’ve used phone-based apps with mixed results and issues. I was surprised at how well it’s worked with a few different languages, and my sister, a teacher who works in East Los Angeles with a large Hispanic community, is considering getting one, too.Overall, I feel that this works REALLY WELL. I’ve found that in the few languages I’ve tested with fluent speakers, such as Japanese, Filipino, Spanish, and Chinese, it has an accuracy of about 98-99%. I’ve mainly used the primary device with the speaker as it’s faster than putting on the earbuds, but the earbuds work fine, too, and help to have a more natural conversation. The device has a simple A/B button to push depending on who’s talking, and the translation is almost instantaneous. It’s incredible how quickly it translates compared to the phone apps I’ve used. It’s also great that there’s an offline mode with 15 languages, making it perfect when traveling when you may or may not have a phone signal. I wish it could load some of the languages only available when connected to the internet and remove other languages from the 15 preloaded ones; that way, I’d be able to use different languages without the internet when traveling. With the earbuds, I had some issues connecting it, as it had trouble pairing, but after a few times, it paired. There’s also a built-in ChatGPT prompt, which may or may not be as helpful, as I’ve used it very little. This translator device is awesome as it works quickly, doesn’t always need to be connected online, and the translation accuracy is almost perfect.

It’s so convenient and powerful to use. I bought this translator to learn Spanish. It’s not just a translator. It’s a true Smart Assistant! It even comes with a recording function which can help me hear back my voice. I can learn any words with this AI powered algorithm. It really encourages me to learn more languages with it!

Este traductor me pareció una excelente opción para poder usar en muchos momentos que me necesito comunicar con más fluidez y al mismo tiempo poder entender a personas que hablan demasiado rápido en otro idioma y no puedo entender.También me gustó la idea de que incluyera Chat GPT.Sin embargo, me sentí muy frustrado de que en realidad se necesita el internet, aún cuando tiene la opción de “Offline”, no se pueden usar los audífonos en modo Offline.Me di cuenta que tampoco tenía suficientes opciones de configuración para poder asignar la emisión de la traducción ya sea a un audífono o a la bocina del estuche, por ejemplo:Si yo estoy hablando usando el audífono derecho y el lazo izquierdo lo usa la persona que me escucha, aún yo sigo recibiendo la traducción a mi propio audífono y no hay manera de poder ajustar eso.El tiempo para traducir es lento, no es como se menciona. Por otro lado, si la conversación llega a ser un poco más extendida, el traductor simplemente se atora y se queda congelado, así que la traducción no trabaja tan en tiempo real.El diseño es muy bonito, y por eso me llamó mucho la atención, sabiendo que era touchscreen. Sin embargo, su propósito principal de ser traductor y ser un dispositivo independiente de no necesitar App, aún así su rendimiento no es tan bueno, y puedo ver que mi propio teléfono celular hace un mejor trabajo, ya que si no hay internet, entonces ya no se pueden usar todas las funciones que se mencionan, y en ése sentido sigue siendo dependiente de hecho, de mi propio celular para obtener internet.Por otro lado, traté de usar la grabadora, el Chat GPT y me dio errores el dispositivo como comparto en las imágenes.Así que lo único que puedo usar sin internet sólo es una traducción básica (no en modo conversación).En cuanto a la respuesta del touchscreen, no es tan buena, se atoró varias veces al tratar de seleccionar algún botón u opción.Sobre los audífonos que incluye son incómodos a mis oídos, no pude usarlos por mucho tiempo porque me comenzaron a lastimar. Lo único bueno que pude ver, es que pude sincronizar via Bluetooth mis propios audífonos y los reconoció. Creí que la unidad podía trabajar solamente con los audífonos incluidos, pero afortunadamente, pude usar los míos.En cuanto al precio, es bastante alto, y aunque en éste momento su precio se redujo, puedo decir con certeza que es demasiado alto. Ciertamente esperaba mucho mejor rendimiento, funcionalidad, y experiencia de usuario, a lo que realmente brinda éste dispositivo.
