Passed the wind test
Was looking for a tent that could be pitched faster than the traditional dome tents that I've used in the past. This tent is definitely the answer. It really does go up in 60 seconds. If you inch up the poles little by little and one at a time, you can set it up by yourself. We pitched this tent at the lake over the weekend and had what felt like 30 mph gusts for 2 straight days. The first day we elected not to put the rainfly on since we were in the 90s an wanted the extra air flow. The tent swayed a ton throughout the day but did not bend or break. The second day we put the rainfly on and staked it down and it really did beef up the stability. The T-style zipper opening proved to be much better than the traditional D style. I was a bit worried about it and not being as big of an opening but I prefer it now to the D style. This tent has amazing ventilation. As you can see by the pics, the ceiling is all mesh, there are windows on each side (not the back, the back is all tent material and no mesh) and window in each of the 2 doors on the front. You can zip everything up to provide complete privacy on all 4 walls. You do need to put the rainfly to protect from rain through the ceiling. The fly also provides a nice awning on the front over the door. There is a small pole that slides through the awning sleeve which helps keep the rain from landing on the door. The ground vents on the bottom of the sides is an awesome feature. It is completely mesh and has a material flap. You can keep it all the way open by staking it out furthest from the tent or you can close it shut by the drawstring on the inside. Either way you keep bugs out with the mesh. The mesh organizers were really cool. The gear loft for the top has dual hooks to hang from the hook at the top of the tent to prevent the loft from sagging when you hang heavier tech gear and hang a light underneath. Zippers all worked great although the main zipper gets a little tight toward the bottom when you have the windows on the doors all the way down. Could probably relieve the tension by loosening up the two stakes under/near the doors. My biggest concern before purchasing was the type of material the floor was made out of. Had read other reviews of the material being really thin and that was not what I found. The floor is a heavier material much like a standard tarp and durable enough for dog paws, while the walls are a polyester/nylon material. My wife and I had 2 cots, 2 storage totes and 2 big dogs in this tent with all of our gear stored under the cots and felt like we had plenty of room. All in all very impressed with the quality of this tent and its ease of set up, use and take down. Look forward to using this tent for years to come. If you're looking for a roomy, strong and easy tent, this is the one.

OUTSTANDING customer service
This tent is perfect for me. Im 6"0" tall and LOVE being able to walk right in without stooping and stand up in the tent. The first one I ordered had a problem, however. One of the webbed straps was wrapped around its corresponding "pole" and there were three tiny little holes on a side panel. Yes, there were some patches included, but after $200 being spent, I called Core Equipment customer service to ask how to remedy the strap problem. The rep that I spoke with (Nolan) was absolutely understanding. He asked me to send him a quick photo of the wrapped strap. He filled out his order form and SENT ME ANOTHER TENT! And he did not ask me to return the first one - said to keep it and use it for parts if I ever needed any. I received the new second tent TWO DAYS later.I am a Core Equipment customer for life!On this model, I do with the windows were slightly larger. The two air intake vents are are a brilliant idea, and they help alot, but in 90 weather with a bit of a breeze and all windows open, the tent does get warm inside, but I think I will love it in colder situations. All materials seem well made. I've only used it 4 nights and have not experienced rain showers, so I cannot comment on waterproof-ness. I sprayed half a can of Kiwi Camp Dry along all seams and will update my review after some rain. The overhead "foyer" is very small, but its "ok" and makes it look cool. I like the little floor piece that is outside the door to kick shoes off before coming in.VERY EASY to put up and take down. I really love this thing. People were watching me (single guy) putting it up in less than a minute. Although I did "practice" with it at home -(highly recommended)It is very lightweight and the the gizmo to hang up stuff on the back wall is super handy and cool. Love the big doors and the zippers appear to be of high quality.

Painless set up
I have not had a chance to use this in the elements yet but I've set it up in the backyard. I'm so impressed by how easy and fast it was to set up completely. Took me about 2 minutes to get tent body up and staked. Rain fly was a bit harder to do for one person but had it attached and guy lines staked in about 8 min. I ran the sprinkler on it for a couple of hours and it was bone dry. I applied Nikwax Solarproof just to add some uv protection as well as additional waterproof. Overall, it's a great tent with plenty of space. The awning is small and useless but the T door makes entering the tent smoother. Materials and build seem to be of good quality. Well, except for the flimsy stakes anyway. When everything was dry, I was able to place it back in the bag. I had to wrestle and lay on it a bit to compress the air out. I also added some cardboard to the ends of the bag. The tent feet and hub presses against the tent fabric and I'm afraid it'll lead to a puncture so I wanted to add some padding.

Super-easy setup and takedown, but problem with zippers!
The tent's zippers only meet at the bottom, unlike many tents that can zip up at the top, which has led to raccoons unzipping it at night (No, we had nothing in the tent to attract them!). The park rangers had to provide us with a mini bungee to literally lock ourselves in the tent at night, which obviously isnāt safe. Additionally, the zippers frequently snag on the surrounding material, causing tears. On the plus side, the tent is quick to set up (less than a minute, aside from pegging down) and pack (no more than a few minutes), and it's spacious with good quality overall.
