Great Grill
This Weber is replacing a Weber Genesis Silver B I bought in 2000 which in 2022 it finally was beyond me fixing it any longer. So I bought a smaller table top gas grill I won't mention the name here but it lasted all of two and a half years before the heat shields and burner tubes burnt out and that was after I replaced the pop rivets with screws at the two year mark. I should go and amend my review on that. On to the Spirit grill, It arrive unharmed and went together easily not many words in the assembly instructions but the picture were good. I feel like the porcelain coated grates are of much better quality than the older ones which I replaced after about three years with stainless ones. I also like that the flavorizer bars are made from stainless. The size of the cooking area is good for this stage of my life. So far I've cooked two T-Bones and a chicken on the new grill with some mixed veggies and it has worked great. I'm still learning the hot spots and the temps across the dials but it does get up to 650 pretty quickly wide open probably a bit hotter on the grates. Anyway so far so good I'm glad I went back to Weber.

Nice grill
I am really enjoying my new grill. Have done lots of steaks and chops but also just did a small (13-lb) turkey last week. It turned out very moist and wonderful (I placed a container of water in with the bird). I debated about 2- versus 3- burner and am perfectly satisfied with the 2-burner configuration. The cooking surface area is the same in both and I really do not anticipate having to use all the area for intense-heat cooking. Plenty of room above the two burners for up to six large steaks and/or large chops and I usually only do four. I was advised I would have to devote a day to assembling it but it really took no more than two hours from opening the box to completed BBQ. The instructions are quite good and there is also a video. Three-burner would obviously take longer, but I don't think it should add that much time as it should be the same as installing the other two so you would know exactly what to do on #3. easy to clean when doing staks, etc., I just leave the burners on for about 10 minutes after removing the food and the grills are easy to clean with a good BBQ brush. I cooked the turkey on a foil-lined baking sheet I just placed on top of the grills so it was very easy to remove and clean. The BBQ is quite well-made and strong. It is a Weber!

Easy to Assemble and Ready to Use in about 30 Minutes - Quality Materials
Great small grill, like how the ignition is integrated in the gas valve for each section of the grill. Easy to assemble. Quality materials. This is my second Weber gas grill, first one lasted over 15 years and looking for this one to do the same.

Great Grill!
Love it. Great grill. Put it together myself fairly quick and easy. 4 stars because the grates aren’t the best. Looking for the stainless steel ones, then it will be perfect!

Know this of the Spirit E310, but good overall.
We have had Weber grills about every 10 years though we bought a Monument grill last time and replaced nearly every part, sometimes twice, during its 5 year lifetime. Won't do that again. I like the quality of Weber grills. This Spirit E310 has 3 burners and works great for two people - works OK for four, with a little finesse. Their new starting system (push each knob in, then turn to hi and release) is excellent and requires no batteries. Some negatives - mine came without the bag of 3 screws that hold the front on so all that excitement was tempered for over a week. They overnighted the screws but sent only 2 - argh. They have an odd system where they don't start the overnight process until a few days have elapsed. The other problem is the cooking grate spaces are 9/16" typically but between the two grate sections, there is a 3/4" gap that cannot be reduced so narrow things like breakfast sausages fall right through to their demise. Don't know what they were thinking during the design review process. I like that low really is low so you can leave it on and not worry about burning the bottom of the food above. As a structural engineer for 39 years, I was concerned about overtipping of the whole unit when it's windy. They left no provision to alleviate that, short of making your own hole through the bottom plate to secure the grill to the deck. Finally, the Warranty states that it lapses if there are problems with any parts due to "exposure to salt air". That seems to void the expected warranty for a lot of folks who haven't read the fine print. Hope Weber was not serious. Except for those caveats, I was pleased with their new design. 4.6 stars

Quality construction, works great
Comes very well packed, you will have a lot of cardboard to recycle! Instructions are good, do them in order. Very nicely made and everything fit as it should. It works well, easy to light and easy to adjust the heat. Cooked burgers much more evenly than my decades-old Weber propane grill. I'm quite pleased with it.

Solid unit, but some steps backwards vs older models
I finally replace my very old Weber Spirit 210 with a new 310 model. Overall, there are a couple of improvements, but some definite steps backwards vs. the older model. Assembly took about 90 minutes or so, allowing for dropped screws, beer breaks, etc. Improvement - The door is solid, vs the old removable, flimsy covering. However, the negatives are: - The wheels are a downgrade. The older models had wheels that allowed movement in all directions. This one just has 2 wheels, and is mainly for moving the unit from place to place. In my case, I keep the grill under my overhang to protect it from rain, then move it out when in use. With the old model, I could just pull it straight out from the wall. With the new model I have to make several gyrations. Not ideal. - The unit does not have a weight measure for the LP tank. With the old unit, I could see when the tank was getting empty by the weight gauge. With the new unit, there is no indication at all about the level of fuel remaining. I'm now going to have to buy an extra LP tank, because for sure I will run out in the middle of a grill at some pointl - The side shelves to not fold down. I don't know what is going on here, since I went to my local big box (HD) and the unit on display had folding shelves. However the unit I got from Amazon has fixed shelves. I have limited space, and this was one of the reasons I went for the 310 instead of the 210. Unfortunately I've already built and thing, so would be difficult to return, so I'll have to live with it. Overall, I probably wouldn't have purchased this unit knowing the above, but I guess I'll live with it. 1st world problems, I know.
