SO MANY SEEDS - will buy again in the future
Update Winter/ Spring 2024 - I'm still working out of these seeds over a year later. I just planted the tomatoes (Roma VF) and the germination is nearly 100%. I also planted the bell peppers which are germinating too. I'll be planting many of the "old seeds" this summer including peas, beans, corn, squash, etc...Seeds will last for several years if you keep the dry and away from extreme conditions. Also, I did buy another bucket of seeds last year when it was less expensive. I haven't opened it yet. They are my "prepper" seeds because you never know what could happen.I'm still extremely happy with my purchase. I'll probably buy it again this fall. Also, if you have a gardening friend or prepper friend - this makes an excellent gift for Birthdays and Holidays. If you're on the fence and this container is at a price you can afford - buy it. The value is amazing. The varieties I've experienced are excellent.Update: Fall 2023Everything I planted did germinate at a rate that's expected for each variety. I'm very happy with all of it. If you're looking to purchase this for prepping you should absolutely wait until October because the price is far less. Its currently $26.I grew the burgess buttercup - this was a huge plant and the squash is absolutely delicious (it made 12 pounds off of 1 plant). It makes excellent pumpkin pie, too. The summer squash did well - but all my summer squash struggled this year. As did all my melons. The peppers I planted did great and produced great. I didnt plant the corn. The green beans were an absolute standout. They produced several pounds of green beans and they stayed tender for a long while. I grew a spring patch and a fall patch - I'm still getting green beans from my 2nd planting. My carrots have germinated for my fall/winter planting. My spring planting of carrots was delicious. The tomatoes did great. The peas were fun and delicious and free vigorously. The only thing which did not do well were the onions. I live in a short day latitude and I received long day onions. No big deal, it will make tiny onions.Update Spring 2023: Planting today. Opened the tomatoes. There is over 600 seeds. Yes, I counted. Over 3000 lettuce seeds, 500 spinach, 200 peppers. Considering most tomatoes and peppers only have 10-50 seeds the value is amazing. Even if you only count tomatoes at 25 seeds a pack at $2.50 each you've definitely gotten your money's worth.Update Winter 2022: I counted the seeds. The number of seeds is amazing. For the beans it was exactly 406 seeds. For the Peas and corn they are just as huge. I just wanted to stress that while the variety is lacking the number of seeds is amazing. If you want to start a basic homestead this set will get you started. My complaint is the sweet corn instead of any dent corn. I think you can let sweet corn dry into field corn but idk. In any case I think this is definitely worth it . I'll update with germination and planting when I do this this spring and summer.I feel this is a EXCELLENT value. The seed amounts are a lot more than regular store packets for each variety. I received:Green beans - blue lake bush beans [400+ seeds]Carrots - danversCorn - golden bantum [400+ seeds] * (There is also Truckers favorite dent corn in some containers)Cucumbers - straight eightCantaloupe - hales best jumboOnion - Utah yellow sweet spanishPeas - cascadia [300+seeds]Bell Peppers - California wonder [300+seeds]Lettuce - romaine, cimarron [3,000+ seeds]]Spinach - bloomsdale long standingSquash (winter) - Burgess buttercupTomatoes - Roma [600+ seeds]Zucchini (summer squash) - black beautyAgain, especially for the corn, pea, beans there are definitely way more than your average store seed packet. I'm very happy with the purchase. I cant wait to plant them!

Great assortment, well-sealed, and excellent instructions.
TLDR version; Detailed instructions for planting thru seed saving, good variety, really well sealed for freshness. The full nitty-gritty;This kit includes a sealed #10 can that must be opened with a canopener, and it has a plastic lid that you can place back on after opening. The outside of the can has the list of 13 types of seeds, but does not identify specific varieties. See the list below for those details. Inside the can is an oxygen absorber pack to keep the seeds fresh longer, a large zipper bag containing the Growing guide not only for the seeds included, but for 38 types of vegetable, herb, and fruit plants. The guide includes details for Planting, Care, Harvesting, and Seed Collection details. This last part had me particularly excited as I’ve only started saving seeds from my own harvest from a few plants, but now I have a good guide for all of them for improved sustainability. The seeds themselves are additionally sealed in foil packs instead of plain paper seed packets, for additional freshness. These are the 13 specific varieties of seeds that were included in my kit, and the amount included, measured in grams:Bean, Bush Contender 150gCarrot, Imperator 58 3gCorn, Golden Bantam 8 125gCucumber, Straight Eight 4gMelon, Cantaloupe Hales Best Jumbo 3gOnion, Yellow Sweet Spanish 2gPea, Thomas Laxton 150gPepper, Sweet California Wonder 300 TMR 2.5gLettuce, Romain Cimmaron 3gSpinach, Viroflay 4gSquash, Winter Waltham Butternut 4gTomato, VR Moscow 2.5gSquash, Summer Zucchini Black Beauty 3gOverall, I’m really pleased with this purchase, and I will probably buy it again for future years until I have built up a supply of seeds from my own harvests.

Not 4 year shelf life
I took a star off because the product advertised a 4 year shelf life. And while I was sent a can that said the date it was sealed and the date it would expired showing 4 years. But…2 years had already passed since the can had been sealed leaving 2 years left until the expiration date. showing that obviously they are shipping off product that has been sitting there for awhile. But if that’s the case then that needs to be stated or a discount needs to be provided for the ppl who are not getting the full 4 years. Because that’s false advertisement. However I will say the product it’s self looks great and i admire how they sealed and packaged the product itself. It is sealed great in an aluminum can just like you would see if you were to buy a can of corn except much larger. You’ll have to open with a can opener. I will update once I have grown the veggies

Seems good for what I paid
I’m using them to put up for an emergency so I haven’t tried to plant them. I’m planning on buying one more as a test I will put the outcome on this review when I do. I didn’t read very well as I was expecting more than 13 varieties in this large can but what is there is a good selection. If the germination rate is good then It’s worth the price I paid. However I noticed the price has been jumping up and down a lot recently as I was going to buy another and it was almost 15$ higher than i paid. idk if it was different sellers or what but i will wait or buy another brand. i like the #10 can over the mylar packs to keep out varmints and the shelf life should be longer as well. ill update if i get another can to plant or decide to try the one i have. Thanks for reading.
