Great for long eared dogs.
Dogs ears stay out of bowl. They don't get wet or get food on them.

It is too long. Should be square or round to prevent dogs ears falling into the water.

Large openings and holds a lot!
Just got these for our bloodhound puppy. I was worried that they wouldn’t be big enough for him when he’s full-grown and was relieved at the size and the concave inside. I wasn’t sure if the insides were hollow or went straight down but they are hollow, which allows our guy to root around and still keep his ears clean. And the large holds a LOT. We have a raised platform feeder so I put these on top of the platform and it seems to work out well. They clean up easily. So far so good!

Not chew proof, but very functional! Love the capacity!
It's been 6 months since I bought three of these, (and one green smaller one for travel) and my dogs love them. They are poodles, so I try to keep their ears dry and out of the bowl. The bowls look nice, they seem sturdy, but last week the dogs drank one until it was empty and decided to carry it off and shred it. So bummed. I still have the others, and I would still recommend, just watch if you have dogs who enjoy chewing.

Great bowl
Great for dogs with long ears. This bowl keeps My Bassett hounds ears dry.

Terrible smell, pretty good after that
The odor on this thing is pretty terrible when it's new. I had to sit it outside for a few days, but it pretty much went away and the bowl itself works pretty good for keeping the ears out. I got the large size and I wish there was a little larger one. I have a bloodhound puppy and it's great now but it might be a tight squeeze for his muzzle when he's an adult.

dogs thought it was a toy- and ears go in bowl if they drink from the long side
i thought this was a metal type bowl (my bad). I got it and filled it and set it down. My dogs drank out of it initially but then just a few moments later, one grabbed the side of it and flipped it. She thought the rubber like material made it a toy. All 3 dogs would drink out of it, but yeah, the texture is too similar to many dog toys. bummer that it didn't work for my situation. would have given more stars as it works kind of for my spaniel when he drank in one direction, but from the other direction, ears still went in the bowl.

Perfect for long eared dogs
It's perfect for my Blood Hound. Keeps her ears out of the water. Easy to clean and holds a good amount of water
