They don’t get moldy like wooden clothespins, and the springs don’t break after years of weather and constant use. They are strong enough to hold clothes on the line in crazy Arizona desert winds, which is really saying something. Have had my first bag for 3+ years, and none have broken, clipping action is as strong as ever. (I have bad arthritis in my hands but don’t have trouble opening them, yet they still hold things very securely.) I use on clothesline or to secure wet shirts on metal hangers, which lets me dry more clothes at a time on the line. Also use to secure even heavy towels to drying rack (again bc of wind). I use when camping to clip tarps over my truck/around campsite, use to clip shade cloth/frost cloth around plants, in the house to close bags of chips and dry goods in kitchen, to clip a towel at backdoor for drying dogs’ feet, and keep a few in the truck for clipping things to the sun shades and for whatever else comes up. I’ve done prolonged camping in the desert (in intense wind, no trees for shade, scorching sun and freezing temps) and consider these combined with aluminet tarps the absolute essentials for shade and warmth. Great quality product with countless uses. Review: My new favorite laundry pegs (of the ones available to me in the U.S.) - These laundry pegs are very strong and I can't see how they could possibly break easily. They held California king size heavy flannel sheets in a strong wind, and Levi jeans in the same wind. They have a very firm grip and do not use a coil spring. Coil springs usually allow the peg to twist and come apart. Although I would prefer to have Hegs Pegs, I cannot get them here, in the U.S. This however, is a very good laundry peg, "clothes pin". I would recommend them if you are looking for something with a firm grip and very intentional construction. I will re-post if they are not durable. My pegs are not left outside on the line, so they should last me several years.

Best Clothespins Ever !
I will never buy wood clothespins again. These stainless steal ones are built to last and work great. I have 50 year old wooden clothespins I got from my parents that still work great, but they were made from quality wood and their spring has two extra bends that keep them from falling apart. Today's wood clothespins are crap.

Aluminum Clothespins
These should be good clothespins! They have to be more durable then the plastic & old wood ones! The description said they are was made of stainless steel but looks like lightweight aluminum to me - but I could be wrong! In my opinion they'll work fine for hanging clothes or to keep a bag of potato chips closed!

Better than the wooden ones
I've always used wooden clothespins and haven't had any issues with them but I seemed to have misplaced them (obviously I don't use them for every load of laundry) but decided to try out these stainless ones since I needed replacements and they work great! I would recommend these to anyone as the spring is very strong and holds heavy items easily. Two thumbs up.

Multiple uses
Originally bought these for my clothesline. Was tired of wooden ones that molded and rotted, and plastic ones that disintegrated. These are fabulous! They don't mold, rot, corrode, disintegrate, or self destruct in any other way. The greatest thing is that I use them for multiple things... not just hanging clothes!! Securing plants to trellises Holding books and papers on a stand Keeping chip/snack bags closed Clipping crafts and projects together when glueing I could go on and on but you get the idea.

There the best clothes pins I have ever used
I was looking for something that I could leave on the line without getting weathered like the wood ones do. I tried a few cheaper ones that didn’t work out. Here is what I like. When not in use you can leave them on the line and they will slide easily out of your way on the line but they have great gripping power when in use.

Inconsistent product quality
I ordered a set of these (marked “ouxinli” in the product description) and loved them! Five stars. I immediately ordered a second set (marked “NC”) and received an inferior product. The first set (on the right in all my pictures) arrived neatly packaged. They are shiny, strong, and well made with a good textured gripping contact. The second set arrived loose in a bag, the finish is dull, the spring is weaker and the grip is smoother (less grippy). They just seem like a cheap knockoff of the original product although they were the same price and ordered days apart. If they ship the original product, as shown in their pictures, I would highly recommend them. But if they’re switching to something inferior to make a few more cents profit, I would look elsewhere.

I selected clothespins with the rubber grips to protect the clothing. I am pleased with that aspect, but the spring in the pins is too weak, causing them to twist when clipped on the clothesline. I’m afraid the pins will come apart for this reason...but at least they won’t rust. Very disappointing.
