This light is intended to turn on occasionally when motion is detected. I have it set to stay on for 60 seconds after motion is detected and it works well. This light has 3, AA rechargeable NiMH batteries. It will NOT run all night on 3 AA batteries. You would be lucky to get 2-3 hours from it. It is bright and works reliably for what it is intended for. I may buy another to put inside my shed with the solar panel mounted to the outside wall. Sensitivity of the motion detector could be better. I can walk to within about 15 feet before it turns on.

this light was extremely easy to install; the solar panel as well. it is quick to turn on when activated by motion -- and the options for length of time the light stays on was greatly appreciated. we live in a "dark sky" area that prohibits lights on dusk-to-dawn so this is a wonderful alternative for security lighting. we use it to light a front walkway. and this light is EXTREMELY bright!! FANTASTIC!

This is the most affordable of this type light that I have found that actually works like it's supposed to and is built to last. This unit has been in place for 2 summers and one winter (Tucson, AZ) and has never failed. Simple install, and both the lamp and the sensor are easy to focus.

I've had a pair of these on my house for about a year. They are terrific lighting up a large area instantly. The solar panels show no wear (I've cleaned them with warm soapy water just twice). Another big positive is these lights work on rechargeable AA batteries. The original rechargeable batteries are still fine, and any standard rechargeable AA batteries will work when the original ones wear out.

Had to replace my first sun force solar light after 7 years and only because a branch fell on the solar panel light still worked fine These solar lights are definitely worth purchasing if you are looking for one

It's is fairly bright for a solar light however the motion sensor on the light it horrid and only works about 25% of the time. I've not adjusted the unit since I installed and yet sometimes I can walk in the field of view and it turns on while the majority of the time I walk in the same view and it doesn't work worth anything. I wrote the seller and I'm 31 days past getting a return and being 1 day late they don't want to have anything to do with me. I guess we learn from mistakes like these. I'd recommend choosing another brand and from a more customer concerned seller. This feels all too much like a get the cash and run job.

I have had this light up for some time now. It seems to charge perfect and is very bright. The installation was very easy and the settings are really easy to adjust. The weather has not seemed to effect it.
