Overall, a great-looking piece of furniture! So far (only a few days in, admittedly), this chaise is a stable and attractive addition to our home.That said, putting it together was not a pleasant experience. I'm a pretty proficient putter-together of furniture; I've put together innumerable IKEA and World Market pieces, including multiple couches. But this was a whole other ball game: terrible instructions and poor illustrations with needlessly confusing labels for various pieces!As but one example, three of the four legs came with a number on them (1, 2, 3), but the instructions referred to legs G, H, and F, with F meaning both leg #3 AND the fourth leg, which was not numbered. There is a key in the instructions indicating that 2=H etc, but why make it so complicated?!I did get the piece together, but ooof, exhausting. The seat is also quite hard, but I'm hoping it'll wear in with use.In short: once it's together, it's great, but the assembly instructions could use a total overhaul.

Instructions for assembly were missing so I called custard ice and it was email to me. Instructions have room for improvement. Legs are numbered but instructions have letters . To make things easier... the 2 legs that have the built in metal to hold screws go at the top of chair (one in the arm rest ant the other in the back rest) The two legs that do not have metal inside( only drilled holes) go toward the foot of the chair. Once I figured that out assembling was not so bad however, towards the end, I had difficulty getting the backrest to line up event with the drilled holes on the seat foundation. My best guess is that the drilled holes were not as accurate as they should be and by approx 2cm. Overall seems sturdy... constructed of solid wood pieces. Polyester fabric is woven and pretty nice. Wish seat cushion was thicker and more padded. Overall pleased with product.

Wow….If I would have seen this in person I would of not paid more than 200 for it, I honestly would return it if it wasn’t such a hassle to take apart and box it up.The reason I chose this originally was the size, it’s perfect for the space I wanted it for..I thought that 500 would get me a decent quality chaise. Boy was I wrong,,, see pictures it’s all made of plywood. Only the trim that shows is wood. Workmanship horrible..would love to get a discount on this chair versus sending it back .. ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️ Would not recommend this product

My dog has ruined this chaise so I came to consider buying again but the price has gone up over $200 more! Forget that! Before that I replaced the meager cushion with 4" memory foam twin I cut to fit and it was comfortable. Served its purpose but moving on at this price.

Disappointed in the overall condition of the piece. It looks beautiful but that's about where it ends. The fabric snags so easily and pills that I'm constantly having to repair the fabric and virtually no one uses it because it's such an awkward size and height. The foam used for the main cushion has already started to deform after less than a month of use. I would ideally like to return it and get my money back.

The color was much darker in person than in the picture. It looks almost black

Did not have all the appropriate parts and needed order a second one. The second one showed up without all the right parts.
