If you're looking for a murphy bed with storage and a couch, this is a great option. The measurements are accurate. The quality is better than expected considering the price (but there are some minor defects due to paint scratches etc). This will come in 4 large boxes and since they're so heavy, items might get damaged during packing/delivery. This happened to us and we reached out to the seller to replace the parts needed. They were quick to work out what they needed to send and we were able to put the bed together shortly after. Complaints include how difficult it was to put together. I disagree. There are a lot of parts, don't get me wrong. Lots of hardware, too. The instructions were perfectly clear until you reach the part where you put together the couch (a little more on that later). There are QR codes to follow instructions, but I didn't need them. Read through the instructions to get a feel for the steps that come next so you can prepare. For example, if you build it close to where it will be located, then you won't have to move it far. You will also need to leave some space behind the bed to put the hydrolics in place. We built it only a few feet from its final location and didn't have a problem moving it the few feet to where it needed to be with just two people. The instructions say that you need 4 people but I put this together with my teenaged daughter in 7.5 hours. If you read through the instructions and inspect all parts to organize them, you won't have a problem with assembly. The only set of instructions that should be looked at closely is when putting the frame of the couch together. The picture in the instructions indicates how to put the pieces together, but there are no guidelines for where they will need to fit snuggly in the couch. We placed the slats in the couch to see how they would fit, then marked them with a pencil so when the frame was complete, there was no need to take it apart and adjust. One thing about this that I didn't notice in the description is that there is storage under the couch. This will be great for those wanting to put bedding or other items out of sight. Other than that one instruction, this bed came together seamlessly. We're happy with the product and only take away one star because of the minor cosmetic issues. A mattress doesn't come with the bed. We picked out a foam mattress that was 8 inches deep and it fits perfectly.

I recently purchased this Murphy bed, and I have to say, I’m really impressed with the quality and practicality. The materials feel sturdy, and the bed operates smoothly, making it a fantastic space-saving solution. On top of that, it’s stylish and blends seamlessly with my decor. The only downside—though expected—is the assembly process. It’s a long build, but about 75% of it can be done solo. However, for the final 25%, you’ll definitely need 2-3 people to help, especially when securing the heavier components. I had two others assist me for about 20 minutes, and that made a big difference. Oh and one other thing, the couch is really low to the floor. I purchased 5” thick foam and cut it to the length of the couch and placed the cushions it came with on top. I then placed a cover over it. Now it’s higher and sturdy! The bookshelves are really solid and the lights are a fantastic touch! Overall, it’s a great investment for anyone looking for a high-quality, space-efficient bed. Just be prepared to set aside some time for assembly, and you’ll end up with a fantastic piece of furniture!

This particular item is nothing like the description. The couch is a joke. The cushions are extremely thin insomuch that the foam doesn’t fill the covers. DREADFULLY uncomfortable and the height of the couch is “kid size” at best. The bright silver screws that are visible on the exterior of the cabinet add to the cheap, poor quality workmanship of this bed. I do NOT recommend this product. I chose to install only one set of shelves due to the size the guest room ended up being. This product was unboxed February 11and installed February 12. It took three people. I was hoping the cushions would expand. They have not. Our home burned in late 2024 and this was to replace one that was lost. Very, very disappointing at best. Do not waste your money. Ann S.

There are so many things I love about this Murphy bed. The lighting, the side shelves, the ease of opening & closing are all great. It was a challenge putting it together. Instructions were not 100% accurate, according to the contractor who installed it My main issue is how LOW the cushions are on the sofa part. They are, in my opinion, kid size. Maybe I missed the measurement on this part when I was buying it. I will need to purchase different cushions before it can be used. As you can see the top of the cushion, BEFORE someone sitting on it, is barely over a foot!

Instructions sucked you have to use the QR code if you have service. Pay close attention to the holes you use, very specific but not clear.

Love the product but did not come with the stickers to cover the screws

It was quite the project to put this item together. We hired two handyman to do the job because we weren't able to do it. It took them 10 hours from start to finish, so about 20 man hours. I like the finished product, but getting it done cost quite a bit more money and time than we expected.

Well instruction are not great. Used QR codes and some the videos would not load. Holes for screws were hard to get right. Had no extra screw considering some got stripped. Couch cushions are thin and uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend this to anybody
