Works great with correct buckle size
This is perfect IF you have the right size buckle. Our 2 year old son could escape all the other anti-escape devices we had bought. This + the 2 step chest buckle (different brand/product from Amazon) has worked great! We had to replace buckle from a different seat to get it to fit properly but worth it for the safety.

Amazing!
I bought this for my toddler that has SPD, he was unbuckling while I was driving on the free way and I was worried he would get seriously injured if we got in an accident. This works wonders, he can’t get out of it until I unbuckle him and it has made car rides so much safer, and calmer since he has accepted he can’t get out of the car seat while I’m driving. I 100% recommend for other parents of special needs kiddos who have struggles with car seat safety.

Inaccurate description!
Description EXPLICITLY states “universal fit” but it is NOT. I now have a completely useless buckle lock that I can do nothing with, since it doesn’t fit my son’s car seat buckle. Do not buy this product!

Child may still be able to get out
My child is 4 and has ASD so I purchased this item along with the chest clip. The installation was fairly easy, however the safety isn’t there for my case. I believe if your child isn’t little Houdini it’ll be great, but in my case my child figured it out the first day of installing.
