Good just not for me
I don’t have a green thumb

Good starts that are fairly well priced. Did not transplant well in my area, but I've had issues with established plants transplants here, too, so that could just be a local issue.

Excited About Adding These to My Garden
I used to have a lot of lavender growing freely around my property, but unfortunately, the plants didn't come back up the way I hoped they would after I had my yard cleared last spring. I tried growing some more from seed later in the season, but the seeds I got turned out to be dudes and never grew. I got these in preparation for my efforts to try again this year. I've had fantastic experiences with this brand in the past, so I'm excited to see if their lavender seeds deliver or not. These are well-packaged in convenient paper packets, which I appreciate. There are clear growing and care directions on the backs and the seeds themselves seem to be of excellent quality. I really like that I got five packets of seeds instead of just one. So far, I can't comment on the germination rate or the quality of the mature plants, as I haven't actually planted these yet. But I have every reason to expect good things and am excited to try these. This is an excellent brand, and I'm already happy with the quality/value of the product I received. Worth a try!

Seed germination rate is very high with this company-do not know about these seeds.
Purpose for Product: The resident gardener expressed the opinion that these seeds may just the thing needed for the spring garden, so, here we are. Product Inspection: Five paper packets (typical seed packaging) containing a lot of really small seeds. Packaging has numerous industry logos; not sure they really mean much. There are NO harvest, packaged or best by dates. There is a lot of planting information. Product Performance: These seeds will not be planted until spring of 2025. However, I have used this sellers' seeds over the past year and found the germination rate is very high. Summary: Despite many suggestions the seller still doesn't list harvest, packaging or best by dates. I have noticed that they are advertising more in house germination and quality control testing, moving towards more transparency. My experience has revealed that these sellers germination rates are very high and acceptable. Just to be fair, we ordered seeds from a well-known heritage seed supplier with a long track record- the seeds never germinated. We received replacements and they did not germinate.

Tough grower, but victory is sweet if you can do it
With spring coming, I just started these in an indoor germination kit that includes UV and grow lights to help them get past the tricky initial sprouting stage. We will see. I've been told getting lavender to grow can be one of the toughest plants, but I'm going to baby them for several months before taking them outside, so that should help.

Cold Stratification Helps
I got these seeds and then didn't plant them for a while as lavender is hard to grow. Don't expect 100% germination. They are kind of like many kinds of poppy seeds. So I gave them a good dose of cold stratification (exposure to cold) before expecting them to germinate. They responded and many have sprouted. (Again, not 100% as it's never 100%.) Will say the seeds seemed very fresh and shiny on arrival. I'm looking forward to seeing how the seedlings do.
