I started walking with a weighted vest in March, 2025. I started with a 12lb vest. After a few months I felt it was time to increase the weight. Also, my old vest had gotten pretty gross due to sweat and sunscreen. I had tried to spot clean it but wasn’t very successful. This vest from Amazon is washable! The weights are all removable and you can actually was the vest. The weight in this vest is adjustable from 1-18 pounds. The vest itself weighs 1 pound empty, and there are 9 weight pouches that can be added to the vest as you gradually increase the weight. The vest fits me very well. It is quite adjustable both in the shoulders and the body. I am 5’1” and around 115lbs. I am able to adjust the vest to fit snugly so it doesn’t flop around. There is also a front zipper so it’s easy to put on. It has Velcro adjustable straps that allow it to fit most body sizes.

I’m a 5’9” woman and around 190 lbs, and finding a weighted vest that actually fits well and feels comfortable can be tough — but this one is a winner.Fit & Comfort:The vest fits snugly without feeling tight or restrictive. The shoulder padding is a big plus — no digging in or chafing, even during longer workouts or brisk walks. It also doesn’t shift or bounce much, which is something I’ve had issues with in the past. Love that it zips up rather than having to put it on over my head.Workout Performance:I use it for walking. It adds just the right amount of resistance to increase intensity without compromising form. I’ve noticed better endurance and muscle activation, especially in my legs and core.Design & Adjustability:It’s low-profile and well-balanced, with adjustable straps that help dial in the fit. Just a heads-up — if you’re bustier, it might feel a little snug at first, but it’s still very wearable once adjusted properly.Minor Cons:It causes piling on my shirts from rubbing. I would think this is a common problem for all weighted vests so I didn’t knock a star off for this.Bottom Line:If you’re looking for a high-quality weighted vest that fits comfortably on a taller or curvier frame, I highly recommend this one. It’s a great way to level up your workouts without sacrificing comfort.

This is an exceptional vest. I had purchased another and returned it because it was cluncky, the straps were too stretchy, making it was impossible to adjust the fit. THIS vest is perfect! You can adjust it to fit you so easily!! AND you can adjust the weights as you get stronger. It is comfortable. I love being able to change the weights for different workouts. I am very happy with my purchase :) If you are in the market for a GOOD weighted vest, don't skimp and just look for a low price...Spend a little more money and make sure you can adjust the fit.For me, it made a big difference!

The vest is very nice, good qulity and comfortable, easy to use, the distributing of the weights is convenient and spread out. The desrcription reads up to 18 lbs, but really weird it's 17 lbs, not a big deal but just an odd number. There are 8 - 2 lb weights and one 1lb weight.

Being a 6'4", my first priority is always fit--"will this fit me?" I am pleased that this vest is very adjustable, as the shoulder straps and bottom wrap-around Velcro strap have a great deal of flexibility in sizing.This is my first weighted vest. When the vest arrived, I immediately hiked two miles in our hilly neighborhood with ten pounds of weight (5 bags) onboard. The vest felt pretty good and will likely "break-in" after more use.I was impressed at the quality packaging used to ship the vest. The inner box was very strong and designed to hold weight, while the outer box (custom fit) added to the package's integrity. The package arrived in perfect condition which always tells me something about the company making the product inside.Pros:-I like the way that one can customize the weights by adding 2 lbs. at a time. Just try to keep your load balanced front & rear.-The zipper, which a couple of reviewers complained about, seems adequate, while not great. The good thing is that even if the zipper becomes inoperable, one can still rely on the Velcro strap to secure the vest across the front.-Although I am not there yet, I like the fact that this vest can be washed.Cons: I was disappointed that the shoulders straps don't contain more padding. I am a bit thin with bony shoulders, so I just placed a foam rubber pad under each shoulder strap to start with.I think this vest is an excellent choice for those trying a weighted vest for the first time. You can begin with minimal weight and slowly build from there, the materials and construction seem to better than average, and the sizing is very flexible.

Easy to put on and to add weights or lower the weight of the vest. Not cumbersome and easy to adjust the tension of the straps. Would definitely recommend. Definitely adds a little or a lot extra to your walks

Love the best for its adjustability features. I like that I can slip in little weight bags for my desired workout. I also love love the zipper model over other brands that just have a clip. I feel very secured and the bottom Velcro straps allow you to tighten the vest so there is very little movement. I am 5’6” 134 pound, 63 year old athletic woman. It fits me great. A more petite lady might not be able to sinch it as tightly. I recommend wearing a T-shirt under it. I had a little issue with it scratching my left bicep when worn with a tank. I absolutely love it. I started with only 6 pounds and I could feel it in my hips and knees the next day. Like I said, I lift weights and play a lot of softball-but this challenged my walking workout. I’m hesitant to use it at my age for running. Worth the price. I traveled with my vest in a checked bag. TSA went through my bag both ways as this vest is a little military looking! Lol
