Works great, least likely to be junk or fake
There's a pervasive problem with water filters (and honestly more than a few other products here) - you either order a cheap knock-off that's probably poor quality, or you shell out for the "real deal" and hope you actually get the genuine article and not a counterfeit. I've ordered from both categories: two other brands of 'budget' filters, and they were poorly made and didn't fit well if at all, as well as manufacturer brand filters that turned out to be fakes (confirmed by manufacturer's support).These filters sit in something of a sweet spot - they're alternative/compatible, not OEM, but they're a little above the cheap knock-off's in price. Probably too cheap to bother counterfeiting, but much cheaper than OEM. And they work. They fit well and filter well. Also worth noting this particular brand is sometimes sold by home improvement stores, so it's not a fly-by-night company that just orders a bunch of crap filters and slaps a label on them and moves on to the next grift.Hopefully these stick around - great value. Very happy.

Fits perfect, works fine, at half the price of name brand. Just a tip, when taking out the old filter make sure it is fully lowered. I at first didn't have it completely down and the old filter wouldn't come out. After taking a second attempt it came out easily. Now with the new filter I have great ice again. Don't forget to run at least a gallon of water through the new filter before getting a glass of water.
