The handle on the top is really strong. I have to use it to put my collie in the boot of my car as she refuses to jump in. The harness is really great quality. I got large for my 8 month Collie as she has really thick fur and it's still fitting her 4 months later, there is also still a lot of adjustment left so I know it will last a good while yet. Even if she does grow out of it, I know I won't hesitate to get another. The safety clips on the buckle are brilliant. The reflective strips are nice and brights. Really easy to put on and take off. We usually take the harness off if she is going in water as it can take a while to dry. My dog finds it comfortable and it's a great fit. The handle is very secure and strong. Well worth the money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic product. Couldn't manage without it *by M***P on 10 September 2018* Awesome product. I have a 5 month old rescue pup that had never been out of a flat when I got him. He is a Rottweiler cross and already 25kg. There was no way we could walk him just with a collar. He was choking himself and pulling us over. This harness distributed the weight across his whole body. The first few times wearing it, he would pull, then not get anywhere so hop on his back legs like a kangaroo. After a week, we can go for lovely long walks all calm and civilised. What a Godsend. I hope to reintroduce an ordinary lead at some point along with the harness to get him used to it, with a view to remove harness altogether at some point. The harness itself is very well made and comfortable for the dog. It is highly adjustable. I got large size for my pup and I'm sure it will fit until he's fully grown. It also has a handle at the top and double locking safety catches at the side. So at s pinch (if you are strong enough) you could grapes hold of your dog if it is very reactive to something and carry it away from the situation!
