Saponificio Varesino Cosmo Beta 4.2 Special Edition Shaving Soap 150g

I knew this would be an excellent soap, being from the SV brand, but it surpasses even the other two varieties I have used from the company. Easy to lather, best with a badger hair brush, and feels wonderful when face lathering. Exceptional cushion and glide. My razor just glided over my face, smooth after 2 passes. So comfortable no sensation of there being a blade in the razor! Face so soft all day.I have a poor sense of smell, but blurb reckons it is with a coffee aroma! A bit unusual but non floral and although not strong, does last long after the shave.

Astronomically priced but once you are accustomed to its charms it seems worth it and it lasts and lasts as it is so dense. One of the most pricey shaving soap in the cosmos - but it is really nice & with a lasting natural woody smell. Not as foamy as some, and takes a bit of lathering up with a brush - but a pleasure to use & comes in a great pot for travel. It takes a few uses before moisture softens the surface.
