Got this for my 6 month old baby who started sitting and therefore tipping over. It is the thickest mat I could find and so far it has protected her noggin. It is a bit smaller than anticipated so I’ve already ordered a second one to increase her play area. The price is steeper than other mats but this mat is thicker meaning more cushion when she loses balance and tips over. Only other note I have is that sometimes she likes to chew on the sides. I saw another reviewer noting their kid does the same so it doesn’t sound uncommon or an issue specific to this playmat.Update: I received the second set and the items were clearly used. They were dirty and had scratches on the panels from prior use. I still like the product so I’ve asked for a replacement. Taking this down to 4 stars but am willing to update it to 5 stars if replacement is new. If the replacement is new, it would be my assumption that someone returned a used product which wouldn’t be the manufacturers fault. If the replacement is not new, then there would be an issue with product reliability.Second Update: Received replacement mat. Brand new. Seems I received a used mat that someone returned. Product is great and I’m happy with it. Just be on the lookout for used returns.

I ordered one set of these mats and loved them so much, that I bought a second one immediately. I put them together to make a larger play area. I love the neutral but cute colors and the thickness of the mats. My son loves doing tummy time on these mats. They are very high quality, fit together perfectly, and have no gaps between each square. The extra thick padding is comfortable for adults to lay on with baby, including grandma.Once my son starts crawling I plan to buy a couple more to cover his entire play area. These are worth the investment.

The media could not be loaded. I love this mat because it is well cushioned and extra thick which is great for my son who is learning to crawl. I love the neutral colors and the quality is great. I’ve tried another mat and it was so thin and didn’t provide much protection. This mat is worth spending the extra money. You definitely pay for what you get. We are very happy with the purchase. Highly recommend!

The product looks great in my twins playpen!! It's also well made!! I just needed a couple extra pieces to finish the extra large area I have. I emailed them asking if I could just purchase a few extra pieces. They replied so quickly and went above and beyond to get me the extra pieces and, as a courtesy, they sent me an additional full set! Their customer service and attention to detail is outstanding!! The set is easy to assemble and clean. When you put the side panels up as walls, be aware that they can be pushed down easily. Overall a good sized play area that's easy to clean and comfortable for your baby

This is the second order we placed for this mat. We combined the first and second order together, creating one very large soft foam play mat for our two children. Combining two play mats together created a super large play area for our children's play room. You can put this play mat down on the ground and put a play pen surrounding the perimeter which creates a fun and safe place for your child to play. The mat is made of super thick foam and is very high quality / is well designed. The mat is also extremely easy to clean and is non-absorbent. From all of the research I did before purchasing a play mat, this mat definitely seems to be the best quality and most well designed mat on the market.

I got this for my daughter to be able to do tummy time, turn and crawl and play safely. Blankets are not as good as they impede movement and carpets alone are not as easy to keep clean and free of particles.This mat is very thick and soft and has a grippy surface on one side a a sold not slippery one on the other. So the baby can more easily duh herself in one direction or another without slipping.I like that it has the little fence to keep the baby and her toys somewhat contained while allowing her enough freedom of movement. Though for now I only created a small play area made of 9 of the tiles as the baby is still too small and doesn’t crawl yet. Can’t wait to set it all up soon. I also love the colors. They go well with our carpet and overall decor while still being kid friendly.

I did a lot of research for the right play mat and I’m so very happy I chose this one. The pieces are thick and fit together snug. Although there are cheaper ones out there, this one is well worth the price. I like that one side is smooth and the other is textured for good grip for baby moving around. I do however wish there were a few more side wall pieces or that you could buy more separately. But over all very pleased!!
