Safety first and Kidde has been a name I grew up trusting that when it needs to be used it will be usable. I have had to use a fire extinguisher 2 time in my life. Once on a car engine that caught on fire and a kitchen fire in a friends apartment. Both times it the extinguisher were Kiddies and both had been sitting about for a few years before I used them. When they are needed ... they will be usable.

It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.How can I give a review about an item that has not been used? I don't know. I do know it's shiny looking and came with a fancy plastic wall mount bracket. So there's that.

I bought these to strap up in my jeep. They fit perfectly. Not sure about the functionality. But they really do give you a good sense of security and safety.

Wanted two small extinguishers, one for the house and one to move between my truck and the tractor (just in case). Local fire chief said these were good brand AND were likely more cost effective to replace rather than others that need to be recharged periodically. Have not had to use them so can't say how well they work but since a fire chief said they were good for all-purpose use on a variety of fires, I'm guessing they are good.
