Easy to build but requires a hammer (not included) to get the second wheel held in place. Other tools are included.Everything is light, strong metal other than the wheels, which are plastic (including the "tyres", which are just a moulded wheel); and the handgrips. The plastic wheels save on weight and are probably a better option as they wont deflate or puncture. Having two wheels means it balances easily which is a plus.Cheaper brands are out there but use more plastic and only one wheel. They looks flimsy to me but your mileage may vary.Overall very good quality construction and it looks smart too. Not too heavy. Should last a while.

I bought this wheelbarrow for my grandson 2 yrs ago. He has had so much enjoyment from it. The double wheel at the front makes it so much more stable & easier to manoeuvre. I have now bought the same for my other grandson.

We bought this Item for our young granddaughter's second birthday on the assumption that the two wheeled version would be more stable and easier for a young child to use. This has indeed proved to be the case. However, when the product arrived one of the fittings which secured one of the wheels was already attached so the wheel could not be put in place. After several abortive attempts to contact the German manufacturers to ask for a replacement part we eventually gave up and with a combination of brute force and WD 40 were able to remove the offending part. This was far from ideal as it could potentially weaken the toy but was necessary to avoid the disappointment of an unusable birthday present with only 1 wheel. I cannot therefore comment on the durability of the product nor rate its "ease of assembly" anything other than negatively. Hopefully this is an isolated case as the toy is otherwise just what we wanted and has proved stable and popular.

I ordered this as a present for my grandson's 3rd birthday. I liked the design, as I felt that having 2 wheels, the barrow would be more stable than a single wheeled one. I was able to put it together on my own, though fitting the wheels was a bit of a challenge. I found it easier to put the barrow on it side, with a hard raised object (in my case a stone) supporting the hub of the wheel that was on the ground, then using a hammer to hit the cap provided. My grandson loves his barrow, which is just the right size for him.

This is a really good usable wheelbarrow for the junior gardener in your household. The two front wheels make it stable for a little one navigating around the garden .There is a bit of fiddly assembly initially required but the resulting mini wheelbarrow is really sturdy.

Easy to put together. Seems very robust - it survived a collision with a mini digger almost unscathed. Two wheels means that it’s very stable. Wish they did it in adult size!

Easy to put together though it would be better if the rubber handles were already in place as they are very difficult to get on , as is the last wheel fixing.
