Wow, I will buy this again next year! Summer 2025 I topped off an old 3x5 or maybe 4x6 foot flower bed with bagged organic potting soil then sprinkled in the entire bag of seeds, and roughed up the soil a bit so they would take hold. I waited and waited and was anticipating the cosmos as I had not grown any from seed in a long time. It took a little while but suddenly there they all were sprouting up and the next thing I knew I had a nice size flower bed full of white, bright pink, and pale pink, beautiful flowers. Again, I will purchase these for 2026 as well.

These seeds have a high germination rate and lots of really pretty blooms. I'm a professional gardener, and I grew a beautiful garden of mixed cosmos, zinnias and other wildflowers. I prepped my soil, sprinkled these down and spread the seeds. Very thickly, they germinated rather quickly with regular watering, you have to water them every day and make sure you familiarize yourself with with the seedlings look like and pull the weeds. They produced beautiful colorful blooms- cosmos Are very easy to grow

Very few grew. But what did, turned out beautiful.

These germinated even in heavy clay soil and full sun. Zone 7B here, sowed in spring and summer several times through the season and had blooms right up until first frost!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: We purchased this cosmo seed mix in May 2025. We planted the whole packet and only 12 seedlings (out of the 3,000+ seeds) came up and so far none have bloomed. This is not our first time planting cosmos and we have had wild success in the past with other seeds, so this was really disappointing. Cannot say that I would recommend. Amazon won't give a return as the seeds were used. Did reach out to Groundio Seeds and will update with what their response or if they replace the seeds, etc.
