LOUTOC MR23 Replacement Magic Remote Control for LG-TV-Remote Compatible for All LG with Voice Function Smart OLED QNED UHD 4K 8K TVs

The Magic Remote recently died for my 2017 LG OLED65E7P. LG no longer makes a compatible replacement and a scouring of the web turned up nothing that indicated compatibility with my particular model set. Even ebay and craigslist, where you can usually find someone selling a used version of an older remote like this, had nothing. So with nowhere else to turn, I figured I'd give this remote a try because it seemed to have wide compatibility, although my model of LG OLED set isn't listed as being supported. Well, I'm happy to say it worked perfectly. I installed the batteries, pushed the power button as I pointed it at my set and it instantly turned on. A moment or two later, there was an onscreen message saying that the set was registering a new Magic Remote. And then the various buttons functioned exactly as they did on the original LG remote that came with the set. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you're looking to replace an LG remote that's lost or broken. My dog loves to destroy remotes. Unfortunately, she got our OEM magic remote for our OLED77C1 TV. The OEM device still works fine, but the battery cover was damaged and wouldn't stay in place on it. We tried the silicone covers, and that only made the remote more enticing as a dog chew toy (who would have thought?) Enter this replacement remote: It works exactly as the original device does. It was simple to set up and pair with the TV. The buttons all work just as they should. Voice commands work just as the original did (not that I use this feature very often). My only complaint with the replacement remote is the scroll wheel / enter button. The scroll wheel is extremely sensitive, so often when I go to press Enter, the wheel scrolls first. This is a minor annoyance, and is the reason I am only giving it 4 stars instead of 5. If the wheel was a little less sensitive (like the OEM remote), it would be 5 stars.
