It lets you know how hard it works.
It works fine in my Secao Incanto unit. Unlike the factory original, this unit makes noises and you can hear the pressure build and release as it operates. I am not going to call it a flaw...perhaps it is a feature.

Works great, installed easily.
Looks nearly identical to the original. Functionally works great. Replacement of original was quite easy. It also comes with spare o-rings (I didn't notice this when ordering) so they can be replaced down the road when the machine inevitably trashes them again. I'm very pleased.
