Looks good.
Did not know what to expect but it was actually a great looking model for what it is. The granddaughter and I had a great time putting it together. The directions are geared for a 6 year old. She proudly displays it on her dresser.

Nice little project for a child
Surprisingly well made. Enjoyed putting it together with my grandson. It snaps together like legos so very easy for a little fella. I'm going to look for other models by this manufacturer. (He's 5 if that helps)

Quick build it is!
Quick build- if that’s what you’re looking for, look no further. This quick build using majority lego pieces. Our family did not like the fact that it only came with one side view mirror, when this isn’t accurate in real life. My son didn’t like how the trunk didn’t open. However, if it’s your child’s first model build it’s a great option to get. Overall, we aren’t completely dissatisfied, we as adults expected a little more based on our experience as children. My son is 7 and he said he wants to build another one.

Challenge Yourself!
This review is on the VW minibus.WARNING--no words on instruction sheet. Step Two has the builder peel a sticker from the sheet to add to the ending compartment--a printed pulley system. Then on Step Sixteen there is a sticker for the steering wheel. The double doors are on the wrong side of the van--they should be on the curb side, not the driver's side. There is only two of the three bench seats in the original 1963 van but otherwise this model looks good.I had trouble putting this puzzle or model together because I'd attach a piece and then knock that piece off when I put another piece on. It took me two hours--it may be a "quick build" but it ain't easy! Now that I have it assembled, I want to take it apart and reassemble it. Wish me luck because I'll need it. The finished project is almost 1/24th scale.

Easy and Fun VW Bug Kit - No Paint, No Glue and No Frustration.
This is a simplified snap-style model kit using a brick type method which builds up in around 30 minutes or less. There are some areas you have to take your time with such as placing the main roof part onto the body but overall it is a well executed piece and no painting is required either. The scale looks to be slightly larger than 1/24 as it is 7.5 inches long when assembled and comes colored as pictured in solid plastic with a glossy finish for the car body. Young kids might need the help of an adult to push a few parts together and apply the stickers such as for the steering wheel, dash, license plate and taillights. Overall, I have no complaints. I highly recommend this to all VW Beetle fans young and old. The kit might be simple compared to someone that builds plastic kits where you need to glue and paint everything. This is for someone that wishes to produce a nice result to display without all the hours of building. One neat feature is that you can fit brick type figures on the front seats if you have some around. This is not really made for rough play but can be pushed around gently.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, GARBAGE!!
Garbage! Pieces missing making it impossible to use. Had high hopes of building model cars with my grandson and thought this would be a great starting point. Well, you get what you pay for. It was cheaper than the other model cars and now I know why. Will make it a point not to purchase from "AirFix" again.

Not the best use of 19.99
This is cheaply made. The pieces are supposed to work like Legos but they constantly fall apart. Our first purchase did not have all the correct pieces. Customer service was fine though. They ordered a replacement that came within 48 hours. I returned our original one. Not good value for the money. Was easy to use for my 7 year old. It just isn’t very sturdy.

Simple to put together with snap block connectors. Good start for kids to start getting into models.
