Could have been solo much better
I'm a drummer, have been for over 50 years. Last year I was diagnosed with mild osteo-arthritis, uncomfortable enough to effect my playing and cause me to do something about it, like exercise. I heard about this product and the reviews were spotty but I thought I'd take a chance since some users claimed that use of this contraption helped them with their arthritis and strength issues. It's easy enough to use but there is one gaping flaw in the system. The stretchy bands used will snap after a couple of uses. I've already gone through 4 of them, I have two left, which means I'll be buying these bands forever just to keep using this thing. I'd like to return it for a full refund. I'm not going to spend my life re-buying bands no matter how cheap they are.The people that designed this thing are onto something really good but they cheaped out. Replace those insipid bands with some industrial strength bands or strong springs wrapped in nylon for flexibility. Those should last a user a long time, probably cost a little more on the outset but cost much less over the long haul.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT UNTIL THEY IMPROVE THE BANDS. YOU'LL BE WASTING YOUR TIME AND $$.

Bands Easily Break on Low settings
I play Fingerstyle guitar so I need to stretch my fingers. I bought the Xtensor believing it was a good product and it seemed to look good. I should have done more research. The bands break easily and the one provided as extra are all small sizes. These also break easily. To replace the band cost just as much as the Xtensor itself since the sell them at $5.95 plus $8.00 shipping from the company. Almost $14 dollars for the new band but they do not provide the sizes inside the bag or box. I would stay away from this product until the start spending money to develop thicker bands. The CEO message is great but it is dated 2011 while they did not develop new bands as yet. Do not buy any more of Xtensors products until they upgrade the bands as well as letting you pick out the sizes.

Defective Parts and/or Design!
This worked for one day. The product clearly stretches the hand. Second time I used it the elastic bands wouldn't stay in place. Now I saw reviews going back years ago that say the same thing, but I figured no one would sell a defective product this long without fixing the problem. In present state, this product is not usable. I am surprised that Amazon would sell a defective product like this one. I am extremely disappointed in the vendor and Amazon!

Good Product
I love the device. It is helping me to build and strengthen my forearm muscles and making my pimp hand strong. So watch out hoes! My onlu concern would be the bands. I hope they last or come in a thicker resistance. I started off doing a hundred reps per hand on the middle row but now am up to 120 feeling the burn. Ooh Yeeea!

Don't waste your money
The bands on the finger extensions break constantly. I broke two of them within a week of getting the item. The seller immediately sent replacement out, but they broke as quickly as the first ones. Don't waste your money. I have been using regular rubber bands around my fingers and get just as good a workout. You may have to tie knots in the rubber bands to get the proper tension, but they don't break!

Received this and the first three times I used it ...
Received this and the first three times I used it, bands broke and I had to replace with extras included. If this continue to happen, I have no choice but to return it. I bought similar unit to use at my summer place a few months ago and have had no problem with it. It seems to me the bands should be more heavy duty. I was using them on the first setting.

NOT For Large Hands or Lean Wallets
I read some reviews about how this Exerciser may help with Carpal Tunnel pain and decided to spend the money. I followed the instructions to the "T" and am now sharing my own personal views and experience. If you have large hands (meaning wide and long fingers) this device is not for you. The rubber straps are really made for folks with shorter fingers and will snap after a dozen uses or so. The part that fits in the palm is also small and tight for me and the Velcro strap barely fits around my wrist. My hands are large but not giant (I can "palm" a basketball 1 out of 10 times). The straps will have to be replaced often in my case and I'm just not willing to do that and would rather obtain another exercise device that will handle the larger hands and wrists without constantly breaking "down." Bah, Humbug. This thing made me grouchy and I'm not normally that way. A small disclosure to anyone with large hands would have been appreciated.

Works as Described
Hands come in all different sizes, but this seems like it would adapt to larger or smaller hands than mine. I'm using the 2nd to strongest resistance in an attempt to work out Flexor Tendonitis of the Right (bass fingering) Hand.

articolo che poteva essere molto interessante ma in cui mancavano le bande elastiche indispensabili per il corretto funzionamento dell'attrezzo......ovviamente mancanza da non imputare ad Amazon ( impeccabile nella sostituzione e reso).
