Super sticky to skin and easy to tear to length
My wife has some transdermal patches she must wear, and they're generic since we can't get the brand name ones (thanks US medical insurance industry). They are supposed to stay on a week - they fall off anywhere between several hours and a couple days later. So, I bought this tape to smack over top of the patches. Works awesomely! It stays on for the week, pulls off relatively easily, and while it does leave some residue, this can be rubbed off in a few seconds.Saved us from buying overpriced brand name drug patches, and I definitely can see a use case for this stuff if I have any wound care needs in the future. The tape breathes (thus the "trans-pore" name) so it's good stuff for skin contact.Surprised the FDA hasn't made it prescription-only or something, since it works.

Nice and sticky, but doesn't leave residue.
Love that this tape is sticky enough to hold, but doesn't leave residue when removed. It's lightweight and thin, so doesn't make you feel like you have a bulky feel.Clear so you can see through it. Great tape

Sounds crazy, but using it to tape my mouth shut.
I have sleep apnea. I have tried a half dozen CPAP masks in the last 12+ months. The one that is the most comfortable, maintains its seal, and doesn't whistle at full pressure is a full face. The problem is I swallow air while I sleep. I awake with a painfully bloated abdomen. Almost as a joke I put a piece of tape over my mouth one night just see if it made a difference. It did, so I began trying different types of tape and various widths. Paper tape isn't sticky enough and cloth is too sticky. This tape is wide enough to cover, sticky enough to stay in place, but removes easily in the morning, and is performed so it tears easily and in a straight line. The folks at the sleep study were not happy about the use of tape to seal one of the two entries for air, so don't take this as a medical recommendation. I will tell you using the CPAP successfully (even with the tape) is life changing and for now I am happy to have found a combination that consistently let's me get a good night's sleep.

Stays On!
I bought this tape to wrap around the top of my cast cover, where the rubber meets my skin. I use it when I take showers. It stays on during the shower. It does not irritate my skin. When it is time to come off, I do so gently so as not to rip my cast cover ( made of thick rubber ). It works well. Cheaper brands have been a waste of money and don't stick as well as this does. I will continue to buy this product.

Plastic vs. Paper “feel” tape
Pros:Holds well, easy to find beginning of tape on unused roll thereby eliminating wasted tape, tape has a firm “plastic like surface” that works well when holding draining wound…moisture didn’t quickly cause it to release. The color of the tape is white but opaque where it isn’t as apparent to see. The 2” size is convenient.Cons:The tape cost more than a paper tape but it holds better than the paper and does not shred or tear easily.I developed a rash several times and it sometimes feels like my skin is being removed when I remove the tape. I started using smaller strips to just hold the pad on my skin lessening the rash opportunity.

Saved My Skin in Martial Arts
This tape guards the delicate skin on the tops of my feet in martial arts and has prevented skin injury from mat burn. It lasts all class with no problem running barefoot, kicking targets, cat rolling and grappling. It breathes, has great adhesion, is flexible, doesn't cause me to slip when running with it on the bottoms of my feet and it tears easily into the size pieces I need. Also, I'm not sacrificing traction on the tops of my feet while grappling with this on.I choose this over sports tape because:- Flexibility of Transpore tape doesn't interfere with the natural movement of my foot. Sports tape, on the other hand, is designed to support an injury so it does interfere, by design.-Transpore stays in place much better than sports tape, particularly on the bottoms of my feet.-Clear Transpore looks better than white sports tape.Notes:-Skin needs to be clean and dry before applying. (no lotion, no sweat)-The longer this tape is on, the stronger the bond.-You can reposition this tape initially.-I can place small pieces only on the spots that need protection if it's a light workout. For really heavy workouts, I need to wrap it once around my foot completely and have at least a quarter of an inch of tape overlap. (I use two strips and connect them - one on top, one on bottom)-This tape leaves a sticky residue that takes effort to clean off of my feet and if I wear shoes before cleaning off this residue (like on the way home from a workout,) it gets in my shoe and has to be cleaned.I gave this tape a try after reading reviews about how well it guards against nipple chafing for long distance runners. Thanks for those reviews!
