Try them, you won't be disappointed
I couldn't believe the sound quality from these bookshelf sized speakers!! Really good full range and plenty of bass without sounding buzzy or hollow or tinny. I have sensitive ears and really appreciate higher quality stereo equipment. Got these as a gift for my father in law to use with his old school Realistic monster receiver for the front channels, they really filled their huge living room with sound while I was getting the back channels set up. Would definitely be sufficient all by themselves. They sounded just as good as his old school Realistic Mach IIs that he had professionally redone, and that's really saying something!I really like the woodgrain, it looks nice with the maple/walnut wood tones on the vintage receivers.I think they sound better turned to the side, facing to the left and right of the listening space. You might want to pick up extra speaker wire, I found the wire to be a bit short myself, but I like a lot of separation between each speaker. Personal preference I guess.Great value overall! Remember these are passive speakers, not powered, so they are meant to be connected to an amplifier/receiver.

Great value!
Excellent speakers & an excellent value! I purchased them for our hard-wired Sonos system. I was a bit hesitant, because all our other speakers are very high quality, but they got great reviews, so I gave them a chance. I’m glad I did! They were very easy to connect, their style looks great in our mid-century modern den and the sound is clear, crisp and has a nice range. They work great for our smaller den- I’m not sure they would be adequate for a large room- but they are perfect for our needs.

A Great Value
These speakers are solid performers for a moderate to small sized room. I have them in a small bedroom. At low volume, there is minimal bass distortion with the audio. The woofers aren't 12 inches, so the compact size of these cabinets compromise a sonic trade-off. The quality of the design and of the workmanship is very good. Is the sound Klipsch premium? (Two Klipsch systems are in my household). No, but for most people, these P12 Edifiers sound great and are a very good value. I like them.

Great sounding mids and highs, but not much bass
These speakers look great and have nice, clear sound in the mid and higher frequencies, but you will definitely want to pair them with a true subwoofer. Perfect size to fit just about anywhere. Overall a good pair of speakers for the price, just don't expect a lot of bass.

Second time I've purchased these. No regrets.
Arrived much sooner than we expected, and they sound amazing. Are they audiophile quality? Depends on your preferences, I think. But we ordered a second pair of these after the first pair fuzzed out 5+ years later, and the second pair we just got sounds amazing. Lows, highs, and mids...they're all there. Sound is pristine, and they're even louder than I remember the first pair being.Personally, I have no regrets about these speakers. They're beautiful to look at, sound amazing for our purposes (listening to records), and fill the house with sound.

Big Value, Big Sound
I needed a speaker that was small and good-looking. It also needed to match well with my vintage Marantz 2230. I wired them up and was pleased right from the start with the great-quality sound. My bass, mid, and treble controls are in the center dial position and sound great.

Packs a punch
I moved across country and gave up most of my big equipment when I moved.I wanted a small stereo for my garage, but I am a recording engineer, so no junk was gonna cut it. I read a review of these speakers and laughed. But, I figured I would try and give my own review. These are great speakers. They carry decent lows for having no surface area of a woofer. They have good separation and project well. I really thought I would throw these away and throw a mid-sized Polk in their place, but for my three car garage, there is no need. These do the job JUST fine.If I were blindfolded, I couldn't tell that these weren't a speaker twice the size and three times the price.
