Quality Braid
Arrived on time in good condition. Power Pro is too of the line braid in my book. I've used it since it came out and have had no issues with it that I can say. It lays down and casts well off the spool and of course tough enuff to horse them fish with it. I change all my braid out at least once a year and I fish a bunch or try too. Ain't bad any of it snap or frizz on me due to rubbing etc I do cut 6 to 8 ft off the end each trip to make sure I've got good clean line to work fresh with. I've got a 10.3 on my mantle to show for it. This roll is for my ultra lite rig for crappie etc.

Tough and sensitive
Great line, the only line I use in saltwater. Caught several sharks and suffered no abrasion related break offs. It allows you to stuff about twice the equivalent weight monofilament on a reel which can really save the day when you hook in to something huge- plenty of line for big runs and twice as strong. It won't degrade in sunlight like mono or get all curly from being on the spool. I have a spare spool for all my reels so at the end of the season I just put on the spare spool and reel it up- that way I have fresh line on the fish end. The best part is that in the long run, it's actually cheaper than mono if you fish a lot. I was spooling my reels every 3 or 4 trips, usually due to "spool set" or other factors. I have Power Pro on a reel that been on there for 5 years! No problems at all, and still has 100% of listed strength. Try it some time- get a come-along, fish scale and test out you lines and knots. You will be surprised.

Worth it!
My boyfriend loves it! It is pricy but he says it’s so worth it!

Tried and true
I don’t love the slick Power Pro, but I’ve been using the standard in 20 to 50 pound versions for striped bass for over 20 years now, and even after several years it’s almost never the failure. Apart from the learning curve of managing twists or knots (different than mono but not worse) it’s the strongest and most sensitive line around IMHO. Can’t go wrong, you can fish 30 pound on medium freshwater rigs, it’s that thin and casts that far.

If you must use braid, use this
Truth be told, I hate braid. It's disadvantanges against mono outweigh it's benefits 90% of the time. That said there are two rods I run braid on. My inshore stradic 4000, St. Croix spinner (snook/reds) setup. And my heavier SLX XT baitcaster combo I use to throw frogs in deep cover. Braid is a must for those two situations.Power Pro 30 is the best you can do for braid, but even the best braid is still braid. Use backing. Spool it wet and slightly under fill the reel. Use a flouro leader. Replace it when it looks faded or fuzzy. Minimizes the drawbacks to some degree.

It's great
I love this stuff. Slowly switching over to braid on certain rods. Love the hi-vis color. I now have this 40lb on my big surf reels, and 10lb on my freshwater spinning finess rods.Strong, casts smooth and easy to see. Exactly what I want it to be.

Good and tough
I bought this line for fishing bigger freshwater game fish, like pike, salmon & muskie. I have fished both sandy and rocky/debris-strewn bottoms and have landed fish in excess of 35 lbs with it and have had no issues whatsoever. Its small diameter and low stretch properties make.it.a.great choice for trolling, especially where you have a large amount of line out such as long-lining and planer board applications. Although the bright yellow colour claims to be "high-visibility", I would suggest that depending on lighting and other environmental conditions, it really isn't all that much more visible than the moss green colour. The line's performance is the quality I have come to expect from PowerPro.

Good line and a great price
I have used the product for an entire season trolling on the Great Lakes and it has been very good and reliable without a single break-off. This may not be the most colour-fast line or the slickest of the braided lines out there, but it is a very reliable and predictable product with a very good reputation and inspires confidence. I could not beat the price anywhere I looked for this item and I will be looking for it again after my next fishing season in a high visibility colour when it come time to re-spool my reels. Absolutely zero complaints from me regarding either the product or the purchasing experience as a whole.👍👍
