The cable is long enough for comfortable use, and it doesn’t overheat even after extended sessions.I use this charger on my Mac Book Pro 15" and the price-quality ratio is excellent.

I purchased this MacBook charger expecting the quality and safety standards similar to that one manufactured by Apple. Unfortunately, this product failed to meet those expectations in a concerning way.Within just six months of use, the charger began to overheat significantly during regular charging sessions. The heat was intense enough to cause discomfort when touched. Eventually, the insulation on the cable started to peel away, exposing the internal wires. One day, while plugging it in, I witnessed sparks emanating from the exposed area, accompanied by a burning smell. It was a frightening experience that posed a real fire hazard.​This isn't an isolated incident; others have reported similar issues with this chargers, including overheating and exposed wires leading to sparks. ​Given the potential danger, I cannot recommend this charger. For the price, I expected a product that was both durable and safe. Instead, I received a charger that not only failed prematurely but also put my safety at risk.Edit- I contacted Amazon customer service and they were unable to do anything stating that the return window passed. I contacted seller asking for warranty worksheet so that I can file a claim with my credit card company however they do not have that either. They offered to send a replacement however its been more than a week and they have not responded to anything. Another point to note- amazon fulfils these orders but will not help you at all.

Charges fast, doesn’t overheat, and the magnetic T-tip connects securely. Great replacement for aging MacBook Pros. Long cord and strong build—works like the original.

Hi - It was fine until the day it stopped working. It lasted only 4 months.Now, the vendor has sent me new. Harper at no cost to me, it is working fine, for past 2 weeks.It gets really hot at times while charging. Pls be careful, they need to think on its design about hotness.Updated review on Feb 08 2025

I left my charger behind somewhere and needed a replacement ASAP to use in the meantime. I didn’t think I would be able to find a replacement charger for an “older” (2015) MacBook Pro on Amazon, and definitely not for cheap, but I took a gamble and bought this one. It not only arrived promptly, but (to my extreme surprise) has also so far worked just as well—if not better— than my original Mac charger. Not to mention the cord and connectors seem to be infinitely more sturdy and durable! I don’t even use my old Mac charger anymore, seriously! Anyone who has bought their fair share of cheap cables and/or chargers in their life knows that it is almost ALWAYS something you live to very soon regret.& Because of that, I thought it was especially important that I write this review.,. Because this one has proven to be a notable exception to that rule. Durable, functional, & charges just as fast as the one that costs much more. I have had it for several months now, & if it craps out you’d better bet I will amend this review.But for now, I’ll just say, don’t mess around with other brands & don’t pay more than you need to! This one is just as good as the one that came with your computer, if not better.
