I have pretty much being building a collection of all the Lonely Planets I have bought, I have no been disappointed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ An okay guide and the only current one on Egypt, so... *by L***N on June 7, 2019* Overall, this is an okay guidebook, although it seems aimed at more of a budget traveler than I am, apparently. Gave it four stars because the section on Cairo is confusing and because it often describes sites that are closed to the public (why include them in such detail if you can't go to them??). It's the only current guidebook on the market, but I wish Fodor's and Frommer's would update theirs so that it isn't.
