Painting with Bob Ross: Learn to paint in oil step by step!

amazing book for anybody wanting to try the wet in wet technique . I myself used it in water colour paintings of subjects like flowers, but never in acrylic or other media. This book is a very reasonable price, that includes an awful lot of brilliant instructions text and photos, and project paintings that are very easy on the eye to follow. just getting my new oil paints together and other things to start. hoping for some happy times soon.:)

It is Bob Ross what more needs to be said. This book has some great step by step guides to some of his best paintings from the iconic series The Joy of Painting. In this book you too can learn to paint happy little trees have happy little accidents and find great ways to see the joy in painting and how you have the power to move mountains. Great for beginners and experienced artists alike this book actually teaches techniques and how to enjoy what you are doing just like his shows did and still do. Highly recommended by me as a novice as it is user friendly is not the usual patronising technical stuff by others that seem to think everyone reading is already da Vinci or Rembrandt. It eases you in with fun and easy to follow guides not instructions so you too can find your own way and produce your vision of a scene! A must have for any artist and Bob Ross fan!

Took a little time to arrive, but I am happy with my Bob Ross oil painting instruction book , he was such an inspiration to me he makes oil painting techniques simple to follow for the beginner, highly recommend his books. Delivery took a while because it was sent via USA but worth the wait time. instructions with pictures on step by step how to paint sea, mountains, water, clouds, landscape/seascapes Bob as always gives his usual easy to follow step by step how to do makes everything so much fun and easy to follow highly recommend this book to art lovers who need to produce good paintings in an easy way. Perfect 5 star.

This is a very accessible and easy-to-follow guide to oil painting for the amateur out there. I urge you to have a go and get this because you will NOT be disappointed. My Mum (a BA graduate in Art and English at CCCU back in the 80s) is planning, at the age of 76 years, to 'have another go' having been encouraged by the wonderful Bob Ross and this book which follows. If she can do it (and I can-an Alevel-grade B artist!) You certainly can with this helpful guide.
