This is an excellent product and one that I use regularly in the kitchen. Provides a tasteless thickened texture and that is quite unlike gelatine or a jelly producing product. Can be used on literally anything that is in a liquid state so easy to thicken fruit juices into clear gels without any of the texture from pureeing, or thicken gravies more easily than cornflour etc as it dissolves and is incorporated more evenly... It does take a little time for the product to become fully hydrated and to final consistency, so whilst it states 'instant' it isn't actually quite that fast... Give it a few minutes to act and then recheck consistency before adding more otherwise you risk overdoing it... A little goes a long way so good value for money too...

The media could not be loaded. Instead of buying very expensive jam sugar, I used this product combined with ordinary sugar this year, and it worked well. It is easy to use and it doesn't change jams' taste or colour and changing the amount of pectine, I could choose how thick or runny jams I'll have. I'll definitely suggest this product.

Tried this for the first time and am now a fan. No longer having to buy special jam sugars, just use regular granulated and add this. The amount you use depends on the volume you are making. Really works well for those fruits low in pectin to ensure a good set. Just mix the pectin powder with the sugar and cook as normal. Once tub is opened needs to be used within six months.

Works well in homemade ice cream and thick shakes. You don’t need to use lots so the product lasts a long time.

Perfect for vegan desserts. Also good for digestion transit.
