Capable, comfortable tent and a great value
I used this tent on a 10 day packrafting trip on the north slope of Alaska. Through multiple storms of pelting rain and winds up to 25 mph this tent didn't waver and kept me 100% dry. The vestibules were large enough to shelter all my gear without having to bring it inside the tent, but remained easily acessible. Inside, the 4 large storage pockets kept my overnight stuff organized. The 5 loops in the ceiling allowed me to string a couple clotheslines for drying shirt and socks. The tent has two large doors, which made it easier for non-agile me to get in and out. The interior is roomy and the ceiling is high for a 2 person tent. Set up was not difficult, but the directions that come with the tent are pictures which are impossible to interpret - I had to watch a youtube video. A few downsides...when exiting the tent, the vestibule zipper needs to be nursed along for the first foot or so - it gets caught on the flap over the zipper. When entering the tent just keep a finger ahead of the zipper to prevent the fabric from catching. The tent is just under 6 lbs, which was not an issue for packrafting, but backpackers might want something lighter. I did use upgraded tent stakes, and would have been in trouble without them - getting the stakes into rocky ground. The tent doesn't come with a footprint, so I used a piece of tyvek building wrap, which worked fine. I was never able to get the tent back into the carry bag in field conditions, so I'll be finding a larger bag for it. Overall this is a great value for a very comfortable and capable tent. I highly recommend it.

Best tent for moto-camping I’ve used. It needs better stakes and the foot print is separate
Excellent tent. I used this on a recent ride-camp-ride trip through eastern Canada. This tent worked very well for that purpose. It packs down small enough to put in my panniers. After some practice it’s quick to put up and take down. It’s very well made and was leak proof in two rain storms we camped through. With the rain fly installed it sleeps a little warm for summer but was perfect for Canadian summer nights. The stakes are cheap bent wire. They’re adequate but would never work in sand or loose soli. I changed them out to aluminum sand stakes. I’d also recommend getting the purpose made for print. It’s the exact size and the way the tent incorporates it, it adds to the structural integrity of the tent. After the plus-plus of footprint and better stakes, this is really $300 tent. It had plenty of room for me and my gear. The vestibules are large enough to store gear (boots, helmet and a dry ban as well. This is probably too big for a long trek but would work well if you’re only backpacking a couple of days. I’ve tried several different tents for motorcycle camping and this one is the best so far.
