Helpful product for my 17-year old cat....works well
I have a 17-year-old male cat, so if you know anything about older cats, you're aware that kidney issues are common in older age. If I were to take him to the vet, it would be an expensive test to tell me that he has kidney disease, needs meds, probably, and a diet change. I used pretty litter for a diagnosis of what I was already sure of, mainly because I have dealt with this animal's litter box for 17 years. I know his habits. I could tell that he was peeing more often and drinking more water, etc. So here's the thing, we are going to have to let go of him soon enough. I'm not going to put him on a special diet for what is probably the last year of his life. He enjoys his food and I'm not going to stress him out further by taking what he loves. This simple little item has made him COMFORTABLE.....he's doing better although he's not going to get completely well and I know it. The vet wouldn't even be able to stop what is inevitable. He's too old at this point. Considering how far along in the disease he is, this product was well worth his comfort and relief. I can imagine a younger cat would benefit even more. So, thank you....from me and Guardian, my old baby. It has been a big relief.

Saw an improvement in a few days. I’m happy and my cat is happy
Seems to be working on my cat. You just need t follow the instructions closely and you should see an improvement in your cat in a few days/weeks. Well worth the money considering you don’t have to bring your cat to the vet.

No more vomiting and appetite increasing.
Update 6/26/25:Charlie’s breath was really bad. Reminded me of CC, my diabetic cat. But I noticed today when he rubbed his nose on mine, his breath just smelled like regular cat breath. So his kidneys must be functioning at least more than they were before this medicine. If I could give more stars, I would give it 10🌠. He’s put on some weight and is just as cuddly as he was before diagnosis of kidney failure. The directions say 5 drops twice a day for 21 days, then go off for 3 months. But I think k when he gets59 the 21st day, July 2, I’ll give it to him just once a day unless he gets sick from it. I must say trying to count a dose of 5 drops in a cat’s mouth is next to impossible. I just give him a squirt and hope it’s enough and not way too much. If I put it in his food, he wouldn’t eat the food. He’s eating all kinds of food now- Choolip kidney treat, dry kibble, Sheba pate. He still eats small amounts but he eats more often and keeps it down.I also switched him to Omeprazole tablets (amazon brand) which he gets half a tablet once a day instead of capsules. He was taking generic Pepcid twice a day which I often found the next day that he spit out and hid. The Omeprazole takes a few days to work so he got Pepcid in evening for 3 days in addition to Omeprazole in the morning.Below is my original review. My Charlie cat was barely eating enough to stay alive. Kidney failure took him from 15-18 lbs to 11 lbs. he’s been on this for about 3-4 days and his appetite has increased. He still has days he doesn’t eat much but I can coax him to eat at least a little with brushing and petting him. Also Choolip kidney treats are helping. What foods he will eat are hit or miss. Sometimes he eats Choolip. Other days Royal Canin rx kidney wetor kibble. Sometimes Forza 10 kidney kibble. Sometimes his old favorite, Sheba pate. Some days I give him a little of each and let him pick what appeals to him.At the least, he’s not vomiting up bile anymore. My cat’s love keeps me trying to keep his weight stable or maybe gain a little.Hope this works for you too.

Easy to use.
My wife's review:The vial of HomeoPet Feline Kidney Rescue arrives in a small box. The supplement comes in a squeezable dropper style 15 milliliter vial. The supplement is meant to support "kidney function and may help relieve frequent urination, low energy, decreased interest in food, and vomiting when associated with kidney disease." The ingredients listed appear to be several homeopathic herbal supplements including alfalfa, amica, arsenicum, benzoicum and echinaccea. The instructions say you can give the drops directly to your cat or put in their food or water, dosing them twice a day for three weeks and then repeating in ninety days.We have an older cat who has recently started to drink more water although he hasn't been diagnosed with a kidney problem. We thought we might as well be proactive and try these herbal drops. We've started putting the drops in his small water bowl that he drinks from throughout the day. He hasn't seemed to notice the addition so they must not taste terrible. They're certainly easy to use and it makes me feel better that we're not ignoring a potential future health problem.

5 stars
I have used this brand for years and keep several different varieties for various ailments on hand for when situations develop.Firstly, please take your cat to the Vet and have a professional handle their medical needs. Once that is under control, this product works nicely as a supplement to maintain feline health and/or assist in their care. Follow directions as indicated.I usually add this remedy to their water bowl. It makes for the easiest administration. They do not seem to notice that it is in there. It is a nice product that is reasonably priced from a trustworthy brand.

No affect for my girl
I have a 20 year old cat that has declining kidney function, I was hoping that this might help make her a little more comfortable, as she doesn’t tolerate traditional kidney medicine is very well.Unfortunately, I noticed absolutely no difference in what was happening in the litter box and in her behavior.I think if your cat is younger or if if you’re looking to maintain good kidney function, this might be an option for you as my girl may just simply be too old for this to help.
