Yes, these are classed as ‘external controls’, as in they are not part of the boiler and are designed to be sited outside the boiler casing (not, I repeat NOT outside!). The ideal logic, as with all boilers I’m aware of, has a terminal block for wiring in a thermostatic control unit.

Q: Does this work with ravenheat CSI 150?

It seems a capable and versatile device which delivers the volt-free link by wire which combi boilers require not to be ruined. The wireless version is connected from the transmitter/receiver to different terminals in the boiler and is I think is NOT volt free but you need to find out which type of alternatives is appropriate for your Ravenheat.
