Love this product
Honestly, if your considering buying an electric winch to attach to your car, 4x4/off road driving then stop, this is a great product when stuck in a thought situation, typically people buy the come along winch for moving things but this is a fantastic product for getting yourself put of a jam, yes you need a good tree to anchor the winch but you would need the same with an electric winch, it's cheap enough to buy it, try it and make your own decision

Capable strong pull
A great piece of kit for the price. I got my L200 barbarian stuck, it slid down a slight bank in the wet and came up against a fence that I couldn't drive away from due to clearance. Used this to put the back end around. Easy set up, very easy winch action and pulled the back end of the truck through deep thick mud very easily. The leverage of the handle helps with force very well. Cable is capable and didn't tangle. The only slight criticism is the gear locking tab is a little difficult to operate, its best to have the unit hanging so the weight is off and you can use both hands. (i had it on its side).

Cheap and nasty
Fragile. Rubber handle fell off. Cable kept getting stuck. When under pressure you need two sets of hands to release it. Was the worst thing I have ever used. Hence I'm sending it straight back. Also quality is cheap and felt unsafe to use

Lumberjack strength required!
I am sure this is a good winch, however I needed a vice grip to hold the release trigger down and a pointy pliers and a good tug to slide the spring to release the cogs. No instructions and I needed Utube to guide me. Not a great start.
