As I pulled them from the box I thought that it must have been sent it 2 parts - not at all, they are just that light. After checking that everything was properly connected I tried them out. Swinging them open they have a 'stop' bracket at the top to make sure they dont open too far which does not actually lock and its easy to close the steps after use. Rubber feet both stop the adder marking the floor and stops the ladder slipping.The steps as not just flat pieces of aluminium like others Ive seen but the are box sections and after testing I can say you can jump up and down on them and they dont bend - I guess I was still trying to work out how come they were so light. The non-slip raised areas make you feel secure as well.My next step (no pun intended) will be to get another set so I can put a scaffold board or 2 between them to use as a raised walkway but I have found out that with 2 lots of steps on this ladder you have to move it a lot less.Well made with a quality feel and a nice price these are a good purchase ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Light and strong and really well designed *by X***O on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 March 2019* Lovely little ladder. The hinge mechanism is robust and strong and the ladder itself is nice and light. The aluminium is curved on the legs and does not have any sharp edges. The feet have rubber stops, so marking laminate floors should not be an issue. It looks really good and overall size when folded is surprsingly compact considering its a four step ladder.
