How does the alarm wake me up gently?

Set the alarm at least 3 minutes later than the current time. Your alarm begins gently 2 minutes before the set time and slowly gets louder — so you wake up naturally instead of being startled. Tip: If it’s 7:00 now, try setting it for 7:03 or later.

Is this a plug-in clock?

Yes. All main functions work by plugging it in. A small backup battery is built into the bottom of the clock to keep your time and alarm settings saved during a power outage- it doesn't need to be replaced, and the battery cover should not be opened

Can the night light or white noise stay on all night?

Yes — just press the Sleep Timer until “OFF” shows. The light or sound will stay on all night.
