These are great butter dishes! I have two - one for regular sticks and one for the wider bricks. The plastic is sturdy, they have tight seals and are easy to clean on the top rack of the dishwasher. Definitely recommend them!

My old, old cat has a really bad habit of getting into food on the counter, especially butter. To make matters worse (and having a cat eating butter on your countertop is bad enough), it makes her sick. This functions very nicely to keep her out of the butter while conveniently allowing me access to the butter. It also holds a big Costco-sized butter nicely, and the clear lid lets me easily see how much is in there. I didn't know it was possible to love a butter container. Maybe "strongly like" is more appropriate, but it's a really useful, well-designed, quality item.

I just really like it, way more than I thought I would. I was looking just for an average butter dish and this was much better than I expected. What I originally didn't notice and was pleasantly surprised is that the black ring around the lid is actually a seal which is pretty tight, so it preserves butter much better than I originally thought it would. It has rubber feet which prevents it from sliding on slippery surfaces, like a stone countertop. The measurements are not as visible as they could be, but they are etched, so they would definitely last for the lifetimes of the dish itself. I had mine for about 6 months now and it is just a sold and reliable dish. Didn't scuff from the knife and fits the butter really well. I mainly use regular Kerrygold brick of butter and width-wise it fits snugly, so if there are butter bricks that are wider than this, they might not fit. But length-wise there is still plenty of space. I also periodically wash it in the dishwasher and so far there haven't been any issues you might expect from the dishwasher. It's still as good as the first time I took it out of the box. There is been no cracks and no other types of ware you might expect and the butter stays quite fresh inside. Really nice and solid butter dish that I would recommend.

Not a bad product. My fault for not reading all the way through, but thought [likely read a different listing] that the tray was silicone. Thse plastic is lightweight, sturdy, and the silicone edges seal well to the clear plastic top. It has the measure marks on the corners, and fits up to a euro style butter. All in all, recommend. Would've preferred a silicone base, but for the price seems great so far. Does show dishwasher safe, but to preserve I'll always hand clean.

Bought this because it fits Kerrygold butter sticks and it works great. Has even more room so you can fit a bit more than the western style (like kerrygold) sticks
