I wish I had taken pictures before wrapping it, but I’ll try to remember to take/upload some when we finally get to see and exchange Christmas gifts with my brother and his family. I bought this to give my 3 month old niece. She has a 2 year old older sister, so they literally have everything they could want or need for her. I was excited to come across this keepsake box on here, because it’s the perfect gift for a baby. It’s bigger than I thought it would be, but that’s a good thing. It’s the perfect size: big enough to hold lots of things in a variety of shapes and sizes, but not so big that it’s awkward or anything. This is a high quality and beautifully crafted wooden box. It is unfinished, but sanded well and very smooth. It’s nice enough that my brother and SIL could leave it as-is if they don’t want to stain it, and it’ll be perfect. I had it customized with my nieces’ name and birthday on the top, and a quote from the book, “On The Night You Were Born” on the bottom. It turned out absolutely wonderful. I was surprised how quickly it arrived after ordering. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase. I love everything about the box, it was well packed and shipping was fast, I wouldn’t hesitate to order it again, and I would recommend it to anyone.

I am very happy with the purchase and the product. The customization/printing on the box is very nice and really what makes the box special. The box itself is of good quality, dovetail joints, smooth finish, the wood is a standard pine with no knots or blemishes. Critiques...I think the hardware (hinges and latch) are of minimum quality - they are functional but are pressed in and I think a small upgrade here would make for a much finer box. I think the box would probably be tough to stain well as it looks like a soft pine that is probably pretty porous. Overall for the price, the box met expectations, is competitive with other options (etsy), shipped quickly for a customized item (received 11 days after order), and I do not have any real complaints.I bought the box to celebrate my daughters birth so momma would have somewhere to keep special things for our daughter. Kind of a push present. Momma loved it and approved and that is always the most important thing.I think there would be a marketplace for a higher-end option with say upgraded wood (cherry, oak, maple, cedar), upgraded hardware, pre-stained.

Super cute little box. Not huge but works for small keep sakes. The latch broke the first day and is super flimsy so I can’t latch shut the lid

This was larger than I thought it would be. It's a nice size for all kinds of mementos and made a great impression. I didn't see if there was an option for staining. The one I got is 'unfinished' and has a lovely wood smell. It arrived from the UK quicker than I expected.

The size is great for its purpose, can stain it or paint it however you want! Love that we could personalize it.

The box comes from the UK and I live in the states so it took about a month to get here, but it was definitely worth the wait! The box is very well done and is beautiful. I bought it for my sons one year keep sakes and it works and fits his things beautifully. I did buy the biggest box that it comes in. Its one of those memory boxes that you can keep on display because its not an eyesore and works wonderfully as a decor piece in my sons bedroom. I will for sure be buying another one from them in the future for gifts to my nieces and nephews.
